I've had this OOAK collection ready for a while, but was planning to release it only after the Cherub and Seraph were out. However, there seems to be a delay after another from the factories (now the fashion factory told us there will be a delay of 3 weeks at least in the production) so I thought I'd unveil it now to give you something to pass the time while waiting for the LE dolls. The Petrographie collection consist of 3 dressed OOAK dolls: Aimant, Grès and Craie.
Grès is the second doll in the Petrographie collection and features the African Nnaji sculpt. Her face is hand painted with light hazel eyes, shimmering gold eye shadow and her parted lips have ombre effect with gold and grey. Her nail polish is a French manicure in gold with grey tips.
Her 20's inspired outfit consists of a under bust brocade corset dress with rouched silk hem, golden netting choker top with asymmetrical rouching, gold and grey Art Nouveau serpent sculpt heels, and a hand beaded skull cap with lavender glass beads.
All items are hand made by em'lia.

Enredo: Vinte Luas de Esperança, Vinte Luas de Saudades... Das Matas da Babitonga ao Velho mundo!

Se em 2005, a Consulado apresentou na avenida a vida de um europeu [Aleixo Garcia] entre os nativos da nova terra, desta vez a Consulado leva um nativo para a Europa. É o índio Içá-mirim, que no início do séc. XVI foi levado da Babitonga (hoje São Francisco do Sul), à França pelo navegador francês Binot Palmier de Gonneville, com a promessa de trazê-lo de volta “em vinte luas”. Mas, ele não voltou nunca. Com base nessa história, a Consulado leva para a Nego Quirido um misto da realidade com a imaginação que o carnaval permite a fim de apresentar a vida e os possíveis sentimentos que brotaram no coração de Içá-mirim, bem como o que foi acrescentado à cultura deste indígena que precisou se inculturar a uma nova vida.
SEGUNDO CARRO ALEGÓRICO: Noite de São Bartolomeu
A rainha Catarina de Médicis controlava completamente seu filho, Charles IX, que tinha somente 10 anos quando se tornou rei. Charles sofria grande influência do líder huguenote, almirante Gaspar de Coligny. Uma tentativa de assassinar Coligny fracassou. Catarina planejou então um assassinato em massa das lideranças huguenotes, que estavam em Paris para o casamento de Henri de Navarre com a filha de Catarina, Marguerite.
O massacre começou na madrugada do dia de São Bartolomeu, 24 de agosto no ano de 1572, dois dias depois do atentado contra a vida de Coligny. Dessa vez, Coligny não escapou, apesar da rainha ter poupado as vidas de Henri de Navarre e do Príncipe de Condé. O massacre se repetiu por toda a França e o número de huguenotes mortos é estimado em torno de 20.000 em dois dias. A alegoria representa uma simbologia do que foi a madrugada de trevas daquele de 24 de agosto de 1572.
