I have once again photographed another family portrait of a bunch of goofy colorful characters! It was another case of “geez I have a lot of these figs lying around on their own, why don’t I put them all together in ONE GIANT PHOTO!”
And I know nobody ever reads these, but if you did, a majority of the custom figs are my own designs using elements and fig parts from Christo7108, Citizen Brick, BigKidBrix, Lab9, KOPF/Knock-Offs, Minifig Madness, Phoenix Customs, EclipseGrafx, Funny Brick, Minifigure Maniacs, Crystal Minifigs… and uh yeah… probably more. Additionally Martian Mahunter’s boots are edited. They do not exist.
If you guys want to see how I edited this shot, check out my Patron to watch it all come together! Or grab yourself a poster on my RedBubble! :)
All the links are in the bio! ;)

It is a time of exploration and expansion.
The West is Wild and heroes with almost superhuman reflexes and unnatural powers are beginning to emerge.
The Mexican Man Hunter
Wan-dah
Kid Flash
Fish man
Bryce Wayne
Justice Man
Jaiden Lan-ton
Credit for this goes to a random web page I found in Spanish years ago but only recent worked out how I was going to do Diana and Aquaman justice.

Merry Crisis! Happy Flashpoint! Uh… yeah, you better have a uh… a DC Holiday ...or whatever! (boy this sure ran out of steam quickly) December is a weird month…
Dear @lego, all I want this holiday season is a DC Advent Calendar!
I made this figs as an entry for the #psychocustomsfestivecontest by lego.psycho.customs over on Insta :)
PS.
All the holiday custom parts were made last year by Brothersfigure and shipped out from minifigures.co.uk :)
A project inspired by Darwyn Cooke and Mark of Falworth here on flickr that was five years in the making… and… well it turned out pretty rubbish :P
If you wanna know the full history of these two builds and the stories behind them, be sure to read all about it over on Patreon this week!

Even Super Dorks need to kick back once in awhile.
Whenever I wear this shirt - random guys stop me and ask where I got it. That cracks me up.
An outtakes shot from the zero - all will be revealed soon. How do you guys like the new parts on Simon? I think they really complete his look, at least until some black and green dual-molded legs are released. While I haven’t had the time to read much of their ongoing Rebirth title, I’m quite pleased with how DC has handled them with respect to pre-existing Earth Lanterns. Everyone gets a chance in the comic book spotlight, without a political agenda skewing representation.
Man, I really, really love the background I chose for this, the color is just so gorgeous.
One more to go.

Meanwhile, at the watchtower, the league decided to host a little get together. Can you guess what everyone is dressed as? Probably.

So Dylan's half of the trade finally showed up, and boy was I happy. To those people bitching that hawkgirl's legs needed printing, here yah fucking go.
aka The Glorified Super Friends
Now this shot tends to be nothing special, but has long been in my head to create. Considering all of these (with the exception of my newer onlinesailin GL) have each had their share of the spotlight. I felt it only fair to put all of their collective super-ness in one place.
All things considered, now that my Flash series has come to a close, I find myself in a dry spell for newer content. I've got a few Arrow, Superman, and standalone characters coming soon, but only a couple shot yet.
More will come, but all in due time.
But anyway, feel free to leave some feed back, or even suggestions for further projects. :)
Thanks guys :)
BECAUSE SOME CUSTOMS GOT SOME UPDATES SO I DECIDED TO RE-POST THIS ;)
They're going to show up in my LEGO DC SERIES UNIVERSE ....yea....it will be on my stop motion channel...so...yup!
HERE'S THE CHANNEL! : www.youtube.com/channel/UCEQgoCyPBTidkZvCdLf-hEA
and if you saw the LEGO BATMAN : DISCOVER on my channel.....you MAYYYY want to know the story below.....
so...the Superman in this universe HAVEN'T SHOWED UP!YET! and what I'm going to do..is to let the bat fight the Superman a little bit....so..yea...stay tune!!!
...And in a sudden burst energy, a power ring shot out from the center of the Black Power Battery. In a cold chilling voice the murmuring voice of the ring chanted "...FLESH...FLESH..."
Flying faster than sound, the ring scraped and scathed through the war-zone of dead, never stopping to change course as it maneuvered tightly through the battlefield.
Black Hand held the skull of Batman high above his head. The ring approached him so fast that the sound-barrier ruptured as it stopped, not six inches from the skull's forehead. With a sinister smile, Black Hand's cracked lips spoke with a dark and ravishing tone, his words tasted of maggots, and the stench of a thousand corpses.
"Bruce Wayne of Earth.... RISE!"

Here we are, nearly two months later, and I finally got to shoot this fantastic figure!
Thank you again to all the folks involved with John's (Onlinesailin's) Comic-Cover-Contest!
This was such a blast to take part in and I can't wait to see what the next contest brings! Rest assured, there will be a lot of new figures making their way to flickr over the next few months (maybe more) :P
PS
Inspiration for this shot was practically a recreation of Ivan Reis' panel from Blackest Night (Issue #6 I believe) seen here: s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/03/50/f5/0350f52c4ceceb...
Sorry for the bad quality... the really bad quality....
Left to Right: Green Arrow, Cyborg, Batman, Green Lantern, Superman, Wonder Woman, Hawk Man, Martian Manhunter, and The Flash.

This photo is only available on my Flickr Page!
With the passing of the late Darwyn Cooke, I've really wanted to make some kind of tribute to him. He inked a cover of Justice Society of America #54 from 2011. That cover blew my mind the first time I saw it! It has these enormous letters with golden-yellow beams of light shining through them from behind. All while the JSA members are flying into action through the giant initials; JSA!
Darwyn was an incredible artist and a really good person, and it's a real shame he's no longer with us. I talked a bit more about my feelings when he passed over here: flic.kr/p/Gf7BVL
But despite it all, his artwork lives on to inspire me no matter what has happened. ...So this is me giving back to him I guess... if only a little bit.
Rest your soul Mr Cooke, may you be remembered ever fondly.
________________________________________________
Sad to say, not all my JSA members made it into this final image. Some honorable mentions include Power Girl, Dr Fate, Mr Terrific, and Hawkgirl. These were mostly due to to the lack of quality elements at the time! Like a decent face printing for Mr Terrific, a good-enough torso for Hawkgirl... etcetera. This photo was taken about a week prior to Christo's Dr Fate being announced and I had no idea he was coming! I sent him an email for a private order yesterday morning and haven't got a response yet. Otherwise I would have saved this for a later date... Here's hoping I get him soon! ;)
But yeah, here's the inspiration for the build, Justice Society of America #54 66.media.tumblr.com/821a46ee97f4f04809c8715a5fdb8c9b/tumb...
Oh and another thing! I've noticed that there isn't a Lego JSA photo group here on flickr, so I felt so inclined to create one! Feel free to join in here if you guys have any good JSA figs or builds you'd like to share! :)

This photo was made possible by my peeps over at Patreon! Mr Gabriel from ParisCustomBricks is the newest member! He's got some great PAD printed figs and is currently working on an Alan Scott! He's tagged in the photo if you want to check him out! :)
Thanks Gabe! :)
Here we have Christo's White Lantern Flash in action! I have uploaded these pair of photos with different lighting angles to show off the reflective elements of the figure. It's a big challenge to capture the reflective qualities without using a comparative set of images, like this. (or maybe a video, but I'm not skilled enough in that area :P )
The process Christo uses to get the reflective qualities applied to his figures is called Vacuum Metallizing. Here is a few links to some info about it and a few places that produce "Chrome Elements":
Youtube Practical Stuff: www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMurtKVUm3I
Model Cars/Commissions: www.chrometechusa.com/model-cars-and-collectibles.html
Custom Lego: www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=ChromeBricks
But besides that, I took the time to build a lantern to acompany the fig, plus on a personal note, I feel like I'm getting really good at drawing lightning :P
As always, let me know what you guys think, I love to hear the feedback :)
Today I bring you the Green Lantern figbarf .
From L to R ;
Sinestro
Green Lantern (Due to someone pointing out how my GL looks more like Kyle than Hal , he's Kyle Rayner from now on xD )
Black Hand
Tommorow I will be showing you the "apprentices of the bat" figbarf .
On a side note , thank you all for the positive feedback on these , it means a lot ;D
( *and did anyone notice the profile picture change ? I wonder who that is ;) *)
So, the second part of the league, here we can see them getting a little more different. This time we've got:
Aquaman - Gave him a Zorri Bliss' helmet, not quite sure what possessed me ngl. The jist is he feels more confident breathing water, for some reason or another, so he wears a kinda water suit which doubles as armour.
Green Lantern - Now this guy could be either Alan Scott or Hal Jordan, still deciding which. Basically, in this universe he's the only Green lantern of Earth, and as a result has been a GL for quite a while. He's good friends with WW, as the two of them are a sort of carry over from this universe JSA, which evolved into the current GL.
The Flash - Was tempted to make him Jay Garrick, but decided against it. There's nothing special about him really, just a slightly darker costume.
So that's part 2. There might be a part 3, but the figs in that are a bit shit, so maybe not. As always, please lemme know what you think :D
I think I'll reboot my Krypta-El outfit next for Belleza GenX. The previous version's Lara body-suit was lazily applied to my new GenX body.
I'll reimagine Krypta, like I did this Green Lantern.
My Lego custom of Aya the Green Lantern from The Green Lantern animated series.
I used Citadel and Game Color acrylic paints.
The two faces of the Green Lantern.
Taken from the backing cards on San Diego Comic con and New YorK Comic Con 2011 I believe. I have the backing cards and the corresponding Batman cards. Wish I could get hold of the carded Superman.
Sorry but neither are for sale.
So you all remember that one time I made a Steampunk JLA, and then a Cowboy JLA, and then a modern JLA that pissed everybody off?! Well now here we are once again with the Medieval JLA! :P
I even came up with some bio’s for them this time!
L-R:
Sir Bartholomew The Swift. His father was caught in a fierce storm and was struck from the heavens, dying where he stood like a cooked hen. When his Mother was accused of witchcraft against his Father, it drove Bartholomew to never keep still and bring honor back to his family name.
Haldor The Emerald Warlock. Current bearer of the mystic Moss Agate, Haldor was abducted by mysterious forest guardians after discovering the body of the previous mystic bearer. Not much is known of him, but stories say the forest is filled with the magic users that keep peace across the land.
Sir Wayne of Gothshire, The Dark Knight. After witnessing his elders poisoned by the Jester of Gothsire, Brutus vows to wreak vengeance upon those who wish to reign chaos across his kingdom. With his young ward The Cardinal, they battle all who seek to ruin his home.
The Superb Kaleb Cadwell of Kryptoa. Found and raised by peasant potato farmers, Kaleb grew into a strong and noble man, set to keep his kin and country safe. A strong, stable, and noble man of many qualities is a hero to all! Nothing too great or small!
The Wolf of Themyscira. Little is known of The Wolf. Some say she is the sole descendant of an ancient people of warrior women from the Greek Isles. Others weave tales that The Wolf is Hades offspring, destined to roam the land for eternity. But only she knows her past, and she will not share it.
Sir Oliver of Greenland. The nobleman turned hero of the people. The once rich and powerful figure left his royal life to give back to his people in spite of Merlyn The Violet Archer taking his place on the throne. ...For now.
King Arthur of The Celtic Sea. A being known only as an deep ocean dweller, who comes to the surface once every four seasons to ward off any who claim to one day claim siege to his beloved drenched city. Most see him as nothing more than a hermit soaking in kelp, but only a small number of land dwellers know the true reign his grasp holds.

At long last, the greatly awaited sequel to The Justice League is here! (Original: www.flickr.com/photos/thebritishbafoon/13593076704/ )
This one has been pretty close to my chest for a while now, just due to the fact that I couldn't help but feel the need to at least shoot each of these characters once prior to being set up in the full image seen here, but you know, I'm partially okay with it though.
Now same thing goes to be mentioned in parallel to my original piece; that being, this is my personal Legion of Doom, so in an artistic manner, you can see every one is an opposite of their counterpart. So yes, I'd rather have Zoom than Gorilla G. (despite one of them actually being in the cannon LoD, and the other, not so much) Hence the reason we have Aries and say, Ma'alefa'ak.
All things aside, we may yet still see solo villains in our future ;)
Anyway, I have wanted to do this one for quite some time, and I'm glad to finally share it with you :)
So I've finally gotten a hold of Onlinesailin's Kyle Rayner!
I'm honestly loving this figure and I couldn't keep him to myself any longer before I got around to shooting with him in a Comic Set at some point. Now, if you've been following me long enough, you'll know that just behind The Flash, The GL Corps ends up being a big favorite of mine, so buying Kyle was a no brainer.
And hey, since everybody's thinking about a Zombie Jesus coming to life, perhaps a White Lantern was an appropriate upload for today :P
So I finally have gotten my hands on the new wave of DC sets and I am up to my ears in new figs (which is a very wonderful thing).
But before I really got into it with some of the new figs in new photoshoots, I wanted to showcase my updated JLA, which is almost a year old.
But anyway, this shot features Eight purist figs, Four Christo Figs, One onlinesailin figure, and a single eclipseGRAFX minifig to top it all off.
I'm very proud of how they've all turned out, and with time, we should be seeing them in their own shoots independently, in the coming months :)
But yeah, I'm super excited for this year and all the projects and figs I've got planned, and I can only hope you'll stick around with me to see them come to life :)
It's been four years since the public execution of Lex Luthor, and crime rates across the globe have fallen nearly 70%.
We find our 'heroes' within the remains of a futile protest. Trash and garbage liter the ground, small smoke stacks rise from doused fires as Green Lantern approaches a stoic Superman....
“We've secured the area and the rebels are fleeing” John Stewart reported. “Shall we persue?”
Kal stood silent.
“Superman?" John paused, "...Clark?”
“Peruse.” He finally responded. “...No captives.”
John's expression changed from concern to disappointment. He nodded reluctantly and flew off into the sky.
Clark's eyes didn't waiver from what they had found. A protester's sign, covered in mud. “This isn't what they wanted” Batman walked up to Kal's side. “They only wanted to speak with you. No violence.”
“They are a risk the system. You and I both know that” Clark spoke sternly, eyes still fixed on the sign.
“I'm not sure I do.”
“It only takes one mistake Bruce. I made my choice a long time ago, and I feel our journey is so close to being over. I don't want this violence... I never did.”
“At least you both could agree on that...” Batman's voice faded into the distance.
Clark looked away from the mud to see his closest friend for the last time. Bruce entered the shadows and never turned back.
Kal sighed and rose softly off the ground looking to the dirt one last time. The sign read: WE DON'T WANT YOU'RE HELP in bold red spraypaint. As he rose, he could read more and more signs. NO MORE CAPES! FREEDOM OF CHOICE! LEX WAS RIGHT! WE WANT JLA!
He looked away. Today's fight was over.
In the years to come The Bureaucracy of the Justice Lord's will be greeted with heavy resistance from Vandal Savage and others, but in time the people of Earth 50 come to realize they're fate is inevitable. Some still hold hope for Superman and The Justice League to return. But that day my never come.
--------------------------------------
Here we have our last panel in my Justice Lords story arc! I hope you all enjoyed this series as much as I did creating it. This was one of my all time favorite stories from The Justice League Animated Series, and I've wanted to convey my own version of the story for some time. All figures are based off of their appearances in the episodes.
I'm gonna give myself a pat on the back for this one, and hey, perhaps one day we'll see Justice Lords again... ;)
"For hearts long lost and full of fright, for those alone in blackest night, accept our ring and join our fight, love conquers all-- With violet light!" - Oath of the Star Sapphires (Violet Lantern Corps)
Star Sapphire Ocean answers the call of the Violet Light of Love.
This Blue Lantern Flash figure by Christo is incredible! This is such a fun MF and I'm super glad to have him as part of my collection of speedsters :)
With this help of a friend, we've figured that Christo uses Vacuum Metallizing to get the reflective qualities applied to his figures. Here is a few links to some info about it and a few places that produce "Chrome Elements" if you haven't seen it already:
Youtube Practical Stuff: www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMurtKVUm3I

I had so much fun shooting this fig that there were a bunch of other images besides this one that we may see in the future if you guys want me to post them, otherwise....
Next week we see the return of The Rouges to my photostream! :D
Updated figs, new adventures, and a bunch of Flash fun! I'm super excited to show them off (I've been shooting these set's since about March) and I'm sure you're gonna love them!
PS I'm super in love with this new lightning technique, and I hope you guys like it too :)
Guess who figured out how to make a collage? This guy! I'm thinking of doing minifigure characters like this from now on.
Alan Scott and Jay Garrick. Now I don't know if these two are the Batman and Superman of this universe, but they do work well together!
The entire emotional spectrum. Not that I care. That stuff is silly. Just a matter of keeping the competition from stealing a trademark, like when they did that with Captain Marvel and Wonder Man. haha...
I guess my new 'puter won't be here until some time next week. Oh well :-)
This is not his Galaxy. This is not his jurisdiction. It’s not his duty to enforce justice among these stars.
However he swore to fight evil in Brightest Day and Blackest Night and few beings are more evil, wicked and repulsive than the First Order.
When Hal Jordan sees a group of the pathetic servants of the Tantrum Knight vexing the innocent and helpless population of a remote planet he promptly intervenes.
He is a Green Lantern and no evil shall escape his sight.
“Hey look- one of the Stormtroopers shouts- it’s that clown from the other universe! That Al!”
“I think he’s called Hal.” Replies another Stormtrooper.
“Who cares? That clown is armed with a ring ha ha!”
“Ha Ha! And it’s the most powerful weapon in their universe! Ha Ha!”
“Such a weak universe! A Ring! What can you do to us? A proposal? Ha Ha!”
Hal channels his indomitable willpower in his power ring and show them exactly what he can do with it.
A fist shaped construct smashes a Stormtrooper as the will powered katana takes care of the Stormtrooper approaching from behind.
What follows it’s a sequence of frenzied action and when the smoke clears the First Order forces in the area are no longer in the condition to fight.
Today Darkness has been defeated and the servants of the Tantrum Knight learned to beware Green Lantern’s Light.
It’s always a pleasure to work on Green Lantern projects. Those “energy construct” effects are fun and satisfying hehe to make :)
I made the “fist shaped” construct using Bionicle parts and then I added the light effects.
I hope you like this photo :)
May the Brick be with You :)
