Here it is! My second ever semi bigfig custom.
I am right now working hard on a zilius zox custom to go with him. I'm not gonna promise anything but I really want to make bleez also before I start working on customs from the other lantern corps.
I want to make at least one member of each corps.
What do you think of this? And is it any specific lantern character that you want to see from me?
Nothing here is custom printed. everything is painted by me except for the faces of guy gardner, shazam and firestorm
Svitanja i zalasci u sigurnoj luci
Sunrises and sunsets in a safe harbor
If every sailor or pirate has a safe harbor, then mine would be Šilo, on the island of Krk. A harbor that shelters from the bora winds and the southern gales, from all storms of life. A harbor where people greet you with warmth, and where every stone remembers the steps of fishermen and seafarers.
This green lantern is more than light – it is a symbol of recognition, of home, of a quiet refuge where I once lived part of my life.
Šilo gave me serene mornings and sunsets that warmed my soul. This photograph is a small tribute to a place that was more than a harbor – it was home.
Keeping my red lantern trend up. Wasn't planning to make this but he was quite simplistic so I thaught why not.
Thought this was a fun comparison since they are so different even though they're kind of the same character. What do you think of them? Which is better or which of them do you like more?
Also psst, rings are coming just figured out a great way to make them :)
So I am here again at Darling Harbour, in Sydney.
Standing on the Pyrmont Bridge after dark looking south over Cockle Bay to the Sofitel Hotel (right) and W Hotel (left).
The ICC Theatre & Convention Centre is situated between the two hotels. On the far left is the promenade with all the cafes, restaurants and night clubs.
Cockle Bay, at Darling Harbour, is home to many yachts and cruisers. On this occasion a yacht started its engines and, with its lights projecting a trail of lime green on the water, made its way under the bridge and out for a night cruise on Sydney harbour. It was like a 'Green Lantern', lol.
And here's Shakatak with 'Nightbirds' in keeping with the theme of my night photography treks, lol.

An exterior light at the back entrance of my office, turned on during bright daylight. To my surprise, the Green Lantern logo was beaming down from it, in white pixels. Darned if I know what the message is though.

It's a green Bentley Azure.
Discovered last Wednesday in Sydney.
Wednesday, 3rd July, 2024.
Along O'Riordan Street, Alexandria.
Near Rosebery, southern Sydney.
And here's a groovy green song to accompany my little green car.
It's 'Green Tambourine' by the Lemon Pipers (1968):

5/6 green lanterns of earth. Just finished this and couldn't wait to show him. Sorry for the crappy photo quality.
Gonna have a break from lantern customs and work on some other dc characters.
Hint for one of them: I didn't throw away the lightningbolts from the flashcowl I turned into bleezs helmet.
"In brightest day,
in blackest night,
No evil shall escape my sight.
Let those who worship evil's might,
Beware my power...
Green Lantern's light!"
The Green Lantern creed is arguably the most famous oath in comic book history, but its usage has evolved significantly across the Golden Age, Silver Age, and modern continuity:
1. The Standardization of the Creed (Silver Age)
Initial Variations: Alan Scott's first oath (in his 1940 debut) was different, more like a pronouncement:
"And I shall shed my light over dark evil,
For the dark things cannot stand the light.
The light of…the Green Lantern!"
The Hal Jordan Era: When the Green Lantern concept was relaunched in 1959 with Hal Jordan (the first space cop), the iconic 1943 oath was revived and standardized as the official oath for the intergalactic police force, the Green Lantern Corps (GLC). It became universally recognized as the Green Lantern oath.
2. The Purpose of the Creed
The oath has been used in two primary ways:
Recharging: When a Green Lantern needs to recharge their Power Ring by connecting it to their personal Power Battery (Lantern), they recite the oath. The recitation acts as a focusing mantra for the user's willpower and is often used to measure the time it takes for the ring to fully charge.
Affirmation: It serves as a symbolic pledge of commitment to the Corps' ideals: vigilance against evil, fearlessness in the face of darkness, and the power of will.
3. Creating Diverse Oaths (Modern Era)
In modern DC continuity, the use of the oath has been made more flexible and meaningful:
Personalization: While the "In brightest day..." creed is the default, it is not mandatory for all Lanterns.
Many alien Green Lanterns are shown to have crafted unique oaths that reflect their personal beliefs, their home world's philosophy, or their specific challenges.
For example, Rot Lop Fan, a Lantern from a starless sector, replaces the concepts of light and darkness with sound in his oath.
The Emotional Spectrum: The oath's structure became the model for the creeds of all the other Lantern Corps, such as the Sinestro Corps (Yellow/Fear), the Blue Lantern Corps (Hope), and the Red Lantern Corps (Rage).
The Sinestro Corps Oath (created for the villains) is a direct, sinister parallel to the Green Lantern creed:
"In blackest day,
in brightest night,
Beware your fears
made into light.
Let those who try
to stop what's right,
Burn like my power—
Sinestro's might!"
In essence, the "In brightest day..." creed started as one of many options for the Golden Age hero, but was later cemented as the central, iconic tenet of the entire Green Lantern mythology.

The Green Lantern of Venice
I have so many shots of these gondolas of St. Marks that I have run out of titles. So I will go back to the basic label of “The Green Lantern of Venice”. This spot is also the official starting point of my Italy Photo Trek.

This is something I have been thinking about for quite some time now.
The original lego batman theme were one of the first lego themes I got into and so naturally I feel great nostalgia for it.
What I thought was. What would the justice league and justice league characters look like if they had been featured in the lego batman 2006 theme.
This means:
-Simple figures with minimal "printing". -Often never more than 3 colors of "print" for each surface.
-No lego molds that were introduced after 2006
-No characters/character designs that were introduced in the comics after 2006.
-Design templates that were comonly used in the 2006 theme (ex muscle patterns and suit patterns)
-No colors that were introduced after 2006.
I think the variation of these two characters would be quite similar if not the same that I choose however I don't think they would have given hal jordan the same mouth as batman like I did and the logo would probably be a bit thicker.
I am really happy with how sinestro turned out however and I think he would look very similar to this if lego had made him back then.
These are the 2 first I decided to make representations of but I would like to make a whole series like this.
Please let me knlw what you think of the figures and the concept :)
Would you like to see this becoming a series of figures?
This is a reworking of an earlier post that i have refined.. It is a panoramic scene of 5 frames showing just how active the Aurora were on this night, the striated glow on the right hand side of the picture formed an overhead arch..
Taken on 13.10.15..

Sometimes when Supe was stopping crimes
I'll bet that he was tempted to just quit
And turn his back on man
Join Tarzan in the forest
But he stayed in the city
And kept on changing clothes
In dirty old phone booths till his work was through
And nothing to do but go on home
Superman never made any money
For saving the world from Solomon Grundy
And sometimes I despair the world will never see
Another man like him

My new custom of Brother Warth The Blue Lantern💙 When I decided to make this character I planned to make it fast and easy custom using Lego Chima Elephant head.. So I made his belly and painted the body.. And when I finally put his head on I realized that it was so big that it covered all the print and a lantern's emblem.. So I had to make his head also by myself

From Cowboys to Knights to Pirates, naturally the next step was to take the JLA to Feudal Japan! :)
These were a real challenge to design. Getting that nice balance of comic source materials and authentic Shogun aesthetics was tough. Wonder Woman and Martian Manhunter are probably the biggest departures from their original designs, but I think they still work pretty well when part of the group.
Be sure to let me know what you think! Or heck, shoot some suggestions my way for other JLA-Genre mashups over on my Patreon! ;)

Or alternatively, The Magnificent Seven... but that title was already taken...
If you couldn't tell, I’m almost at 100% Completion with Red Dead 2 and have been thinking about basically nothing but Red Dead 2 for close to six months now. ...Well these are the results of an attempt to walk away from the game for longer than a few hours to maintain a frequent posting schedule and pad out my project slate in these wild times. I was trying to think of clever names for them all, but all I could come up with was “Billy The Kid Flash, Fastest Gun In The West”... which isn't that terrible until you read my second idea being “Clark 'Super Sheriff' Kent”. Naturally, that name alone disqualified me from trying anything further.
