Green scale? Is there such a thing? It’s got a bit of digital manipulation in it. An experiment nonetheless. Denver, Co
The Green Hairstreak holds its wings closed, except in flight, showing only the green underside with its faint white streak. The extent of this white marking is very variable; it is frequently reduced to a few white dots and may be almost absent. Males and females look similar and are most readily told apart by their behaviour: rival males may be seen in a spiralling flight close to shrubs, while the less conspicuous females are more often encountered while laying eggs.

Green Line Leyland Tiger / ECW WPH 127Y of St Albans Garage is seen here on the side forecourt circa 1989. The vehicle later operated for County Bus before passing to dealers Wealden PSV of Five Oak Green, Kent where it is believed to still exist in a derelict state.

Looking up at a green pedestrian walk light sign while waiting at the pedestrian crossing at Norwood Parade. It was getting late which is why the green light shows up so well.
Everybody check your vintage Barbie reproduction dolls, especially Barbie learns to cook, as several people (incuding me) noticed they developed green ears!!
I'm so mad right now grrr.
I can't stand green ears especially on perfectly new dolls! Gee damned metallic earrings. Get them off.
Something simple at the edge of the woods stood out and had me stop.
This pattern of green wings in the leaves of a plant had me imagining the leaves were flying on the afternoon breeze. They were dancing in the wind, and it took a couple of attempts to get a good image.
Pattern recognition. I'm a visual learner so I see things and remember patterns easily. Perhaps that's one reason I enjoy looking at clouds. My imagination runs amok with all the ever changing patterns in the sky.
It was a good day to walk amid all the green of spring.

The Sky was almost merging with the sea, one could hardly make out the horizon, in the middle of all this: A green glowing buoy.
My last shot of Arriva Kent & Surrey 5926 (P926 MKL), seen here on Saturday 18th October 2014 doing University of Surrey open day work.
Arriva were coming off their Green Bus routes (PT3 and PT4) on Friday 24th October, but 5926 was withdrawn early (Tuesday 21st) due to its MOT expiring.
In the end, Arriva carried on running the Green Bus contracts after half term (3rd November), but 5926 never made it back into service.
Its gearbox lives on in Olympian 5932.
