Gray Wolf, Taken at The Scottish Deer Centre in Scotland
The gray wolf is a species of canid native to the wilderness and remote areas of North America, Eurasia, and the Horn of Africa. It is the largest member of its family, with males averaging 95-100 lbs, and females 80-85 lbs.
The gray wolf is one of the world's most well researched animals, with probably more books written about it than any other wildlife species.
The Gray Squirrels have become very active of late. This one was making a big fuss with loud calls and waving it's tail emphatically for the benefit of another squirrel that largely ignored him. The other critters, Robins and Finches, watched from a distance.
Gray tree frog on American spikenard. The berries made for a pretty backdrop. This shrub was right next to a bench which gave me the opportunity to examine my surroundings more carefully while resting. I spotted the slightly different shade of green pretty quickly and almost shrieked with delight!

The Gray Catbird (Dumetella carolinensis), also spelled Grey Catbird, is a medium-sized northern American perching bird of the mimid family.
This one is perched in a loquat tree in my backyard in Polk County Florida.
A gray fox, Urocyon cinereoargenteus, in upstate New York. Notice the slightly humped back, and the arced tail carriage, which even in low light can tell you you're looking at a gray fox and not a red fox.
Taken at dusk, and shot through a glass window that was none too clean, it's not all that sharp.

A family of at least six Gray Jays, or Whiskey Jacks as we call them here in BC, swooped in soon after we arrived in the Pasayten River valley. They apparently remember all the hiding spots that they put nuts and suet but the Pine Chipmunks and Red Squirrels probably find many of them.
