On March 31 2012, I was given the privilege of being able to ride on the Ffestiniog railway`s gravity train as a specially-invited brakesman. .
It was an unique experience for me having the sensation of riding down on these wagons from the summit at Tanygrisiau power house to Minffordd, something that my grandfather could well have done when used to work at Maenofferen quarry.
My sincere thanks goes to Peter Dennis & Iain Wilkinson for making it possible for me to undertake this unique experience.

A gravity slate train leaves Minffordd en route for Porthmadog; gravity will take it as far as Pen Cob where a steam locomotive will propel it on the level section over The Cob.

She used her hands to push the oxygen molecules below her down at a speed greater than the force of gravity itsself, causing her to float in mid air...
Photoshop: Darkened the image to -40, contrast +20, doubled layers, gaussian blur 10px, erased my sister out of blurred layer to show her in focus, set blurred layer to overlay blend mode.
Then on recommendation of 100 points group comments I added this edited version on top of the original version in a new layer, erased my sister out of the edited (too dark) version. Made the top left and right corners of the image a bit lighter to remove partial vignetting and selected the whole sky, cut it out of the other layers and pasted it in a new layer, set opacity of that layer to 50% so that the original sky (less dark) would shine through the edited sky a bit more.
This latest series of photos was taken in Kiel, in the North of Germany where my grandparents live. We went to the beach and I suggested to make jumping photos. I had never expected some of them to turn out this nicely.
The late morning sun lights up the sagebrush as the D&RGW MOW Train charges west past "Gravity Hill" around MP 289.2.
