at least the properties are the same, something flew up, It came right back down, on top of me....
This has nothing to do with this shot, but read about my scissor Dilemma, just because they are the same scissors. Read here AlyssaDawnw
Had loads of fun with the camera snapping the gravity well exhibit in the Goonhilly visitor centre. Here are a couple of the results. Had to rest the camera in the side of the well to get these motion shots.

On March 31 2012, I was given the privilege of being able to ride on the Ffestiniog railway`s gravity train as a specially-invited brakesman. .
It was an unique experience for me having the sensation of riding down on these wagons from the summit at Tanygrisiau power house to Minffordd, something that my grandfather could well have done when used to work at Maenofferen quarry.
My sincere thanks goes to Peter Dennis & Iain Wilkinson for making it possible for me to undertake this unique experience.

Another airglow time-lapse, but this time with less in the way of low cloud, so you can see the movement of the gravity waves that produce the wave pattern. Composed of 217, 30 second exposures taken between 2244 and 0044 UTC.
I got this idea when the song Defying Gravity from Wicked was stuck in my head.
"...It's time to try
Defying gravity
I think I'll try
Defying gravity..."
Anyway.
I'm rather proud of this.
Note:
Thanks to my mom for providing her hand and my great-grandfather's pocketwatch. Love you mom!
Image created using particles obeying certain "gravitational" laws. Mostly variations on "accelerate toward/away from some particle unless some condition is met, in which case move toward/away from some other particle".
Made with processing (processing.org).
I do soo love pretending I'm wearing 'Chanel'. But perhaps Little Wig-Wearing Karl would sneer!
Top, a gift, thrifted 'Supre' skirt, Toy Chloe shoes, also thrifted, Real Vivienne Westwood bag from 'Pour Tous', big pearls from 'Diva' & Text bangles from 'Sportsgirl' & 'LA County Museum Gift Shop.
Something always brings me back to you.
It never takes too long.
No matter what I say or do I'll still feel you here 'til the moment I'm gone.
You hold me without touch.
You keep me without chains.
I never wanted anything so much than to drown in your love and not feel your rain.
Set me free, leave me be. I don't want to fall another moment into your gravity.
Here I am and I stand so tall, just the way I'm supposed to be.
But you're on to me and all over me.
You loved me 'cause I'm fragile.
When I thought that I was strong.
But you touch me for a little while and all my fragile strength is gone.
I live here on my knees as I try to make you see that you're everything I think I need here on the ground.
But you're neither friend nor foe though I can't seem to let you go.
The one thing that I still know is that you're keeping me down
You're on to me, on to me, and all over...
Something always brings me back to you.
It never takes too long.
