- www.kevin-palmer.com - After the northern lights began to fade and the clouds cleared, a strange wave pattern became visible in the sky. This is airglow, a chemical reaction that occurs at the same altitude as the aurora, but it's a separate process. This night was the only time I've ever seen it with the naked eye. I'm pretty sure it was caused by gravity waves from powerful severe thunderstorms that impacted Illinois earlier in the evening.

In support of the Inspire Foundation and to help raise funds and awareness for the prevention of suicide and improvement of mental health and well being in men, the "Man Book" was launched today. Put together by the very inspiring Mark Pollard and Gavin Heaton, the book titled The Perfect Gift for a Man – 30 Stories about Reinventing Manhood, focuses on the stories of 30 contributors on topics such as respect, fragility and loss. Although I didn't manage to write anything for the book, I was honoured to play a part through my contribution as a photographer. 2 images, destined to spend the rest of their lives on my hard drive, were given life and purpose again through use on the front cover and within the book! You'd think the draft in his lips would bother him, but nope, he slept like this for a long time!

I looked up at the sun.....

And I could see the way that gravity pulls on you and me

I want to get used to the feeling, knowing that you’re with me, even when you’re not by my side.

There were many sets of gravity wave clouds all at once.

I wonder what caused this phenomenom.

I thought that this was a great wee stocking filler for Christmas. Harry Potter's magic wand is magically levitated above its box by magnets. A good trick but the grandchildren soon got fed up with it when the wand flew off in different directions when it was improperly placed.

(this is actually my commute to school each day)

Decided to go over to a buddy's to hang out and play PS4, ended up playing for 5 hours over various systems. This was one of them, mostly floating through interesting looking cities and trying the "kind-of" photomode in Gravity Rush 2. Reminded me of the now-defunct Hawken in its design.

Another was checking out Spiderman and playing the first missions, taking a couple pics like this where we were amazed at the super blue sky and reflections, and that's just the vanilla game without enhancement. Game feels and plays great.

What does not matter ?😜

1.What to photograph - Camera. 📷📱

2.Where to photograph - Place. 🌋

3.When to photograph -Time.🌅🌄

What is important ?😎

1.Study and tune the camera. 👨‍🔧

2.Learn where you are going.

3.Study the lighting at different times.🌞🌚

What's the secret?‍♀️

1.Feel the instrument, hear what it says. 🙏

2.Feel the atmosphere of the place, catch the wave. 🌊

3.Switch on .Catch the moment!⚡️

What to photograph?

✨Finding the observer, comes awareness!✨
