Happy Halloween Everyone. Not had the time to come up with anything new so did rework on an image from 2013, where I've re-toned it and played with the lighting/contrast a bit.
Welsh graveyard at Blaendyrin, at the top of a long sparsely inhabited valley. A quiet resting place for eternity. Sometimes spelt Blaendyryn, Llanfihangel-Nant-Bran, Powys, Wales.

This is a painting-with-light shot of the old cemetry in Lachlan Bay near the Old Lachlan Castle on Loch Fyne, Argyll.
I'd be lying if I said that the strange noises in the dark didn't freak me out a bit!

The graveyard at Broadway Church.
Otherwise known as the Church of St Aldhelm and St Eadburga in Broadway, near Illminster in Somerset.
I composed this photograph while visiting a small rural graveyard near the Nova Scotia, Canada town of Wallace.
I find graveyards, and particularly ones graced with evidence of local history, to be interesting places to visit and photograph. Such visits may also bend the mind toward healthy contemplation. Ozymandias, anyone?
