The twin towers of the new IFC complex in Shanghai Pudong. Left is 2IFC, the right tower is the new HSBC Tower (the former HSBC Tower is now occupied by the Hang Seng Bank).

The HSBC Tower was finished first, now also construction on 2IFC is finished. The lower parts are occupied by the IFC Mall - and the underground Apple store. The "IFC" name and the style of the letters are same as Hong Kong's IFC - because it's the same Hong Kong based investor.

Because the Apple of the Apple Store is way too bright, this image is merged from 2 exposures.

Take a look in my album Gothenburg !

Gothenburg was founded as a heavily fortified, primarily Dutch, trading colony in 1621. In addition to the generous privileges (e.g. tax relaxation) given to his Dutch allies from the then-ongoing Thirty Years`War, the king also attracted significant numbers of his German and Scottish allies to populate his only town on the western coast. At a key strategic location at the mouth of the river Göta älv, where Scandinavia's largest drainage basin enters the sea, the Port of Gothenburg is now the largest port in the Nordic countries

Karla Tower is a skyscraper under construction in Gothenburg. When finished 2024, it will reach as high as 246 meters, with 74 floors from the ground and will be the highest building in the Nordic Countries. Karlatornet is one out of 9 buildings that will be parts of the Karlastaden complete.

Uptown München is a 146 m tall skyscraper located at the Georg-Brauchle-Ring in Munich's Moosach district.

It is the tallest building in the city (the Olympiaturm and the chimneys of the Heizkraftwerk Süd do not count as "buildings"). Completed in 2004, it stood empty until the Spanish cell phone provider Telefónica Germany with their German brand O2 moved into it in late summer 2006.

The simple shape gave it the popular name "square bolt" (Vierkantbolzen). This "pain-in-the-eye" effect together with the fact that it spoiled the historic view from Nymphenburg Palace has caused a citizens' vote in November 2004 with the result: it was decided that no further buildings of this size may be erected in Munich.

Fiume Sumida.

Sumida River.

Although Asakusa is one of the most traditional districts of Tokyo, it is in its area that the ultra-modern skyscraper of Asahi, a leading Japanese company in the production of beer, is located.

The Asahi Beer Building consists of two separate buildings: one of them was designed by Nikken Sekkei and is a 22-storey golden building, topped by a special scaffolding that makes its shape resemble that of a mug of beer topped with a mountain of foam.

The black building next door is Asahi Beer Hall and the curious golden scribble is the Asahi Flame or Golden Flame, designed by French designer and architect Philippe Starck.

According to Asahi Breweries it represents "the burning heart of Asahi beer", but due to its unusual shape, it is more popularly known as "the golden crap".

Next to the Tokyo Skytree, the tallest Japanese tower and the second tallest structure in the world with its 634 meters.

Regno Unito, Londra, Southwark, Estate 2016

The Shard is a 72-storey skyscraper in London from the italian architect Renzo Piano inaugurated on 5 July 2012. Standing 309.6 metres high, the Shard is the tallest building in the European Union. Then journey to Level 69 where the view is revealed and London opens out before you. Here, in the sky above London, you’ll experience an astonishing 360 degree, 64km (40mile) view over the city and beyond where the past, present and future of London will be unfurled beneath you, brought to life in multimedia displays.

For the best view in town, ascend to Level 72, at 244m, the highest public level of The Shard. You’ll be exposed to the elements with sounds of the city around you. Looking up, you’ll see the shards of glass that form the top of this skyscraper as they disappear upwards into the sky.
