Kummelweck rools are famous in Buffalo NY. I found them in Vienna at the wonderful Gragger Bakery - www.gragger.at/
YEAH! I have new What Cheer? Brigade photos!!!
So on Saturday, the WC?B played a show at a radical Purim party in Boston. It was thrown by the Boston Workmen's Circle to "honor Keshet and Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition" and was tons of fun.
Most of you know, that I don't post all of my pics here because I give them to Chop Chop (the keeper of the WC?B's flickr page) so that he can pick and choose the ones he wants to add. After he goes through them, I'll probably add some more here, but I had to put some of these up so I could tell my story:)
You can check out the WC?B's photo page here: www.flickr.com/photos/whatcheer/
Also, I will soon be posting videos from this performance here: www.youtube.com/1130am
ENJOY!

Although Purim isn't until next week, Leo's having a little pre-Purim party. Hamentashens are triangular cookies filled with jam or other fruit filling. #purim #hamentashen #noisemaker #jewish #jewishholiday

Hamantaschen cookies or Haman's ears, noisemaker and carnival masks for Purim celebration (jewish holiday).

11" x 7.75" x 2". The noise can be frighteningly loud. Actually, it's a gas alarm; that's what it says on the other side -- "FOR USE AS GAS ALARM ONLY" (See other photos on my Flickr account or blog.) The antique lovers are probably cringing right now because I painted it. The images? Paisley for Persia (India was part of Ahasuerus' realm) and fish for Adar.
