My name in triangles on another wall in Spain that I have seen some very nice graffiti on for a very long time and then one day it was all buffed! I was happy to add some coloured roller letters back to the wall on a recent trip to Spain!
Pop Artist Lobo paints a mural inspired by Los Angeles
The painting of the mural is inspired by the visits of Lobo to Los Angeles, its surroundings, Santa Monica, Venice and also San Francisco.
His pop art exhibits Los Angeles metropolis, the artisan beverage store, Californian’s typical sports, such as surfing and skateboarding, famous signs of Venice Beach, Hollywood, Huntington Beach Pier, and the famous Route 66 sign which ends in Santa Monica.

Legendary jazz great, John Burks "Dizzy" Gillespie, finds his way to Harlem one more time. In this case, in the form of a fifty foot mural on the side of a building in Central Harlem. Obscured by trees, and by its problematic placement on the side of building, the image may someday disappear if the lot beside the building is ever developed, thus covering it from view.
Fortunately, at this point, a leisurely stroll across West 135th street in Central Harlem may lead you to discover this striking image of an iconic personality. (Actually, there are two larger than life portraits here, with two small graffiti-like caricatures of Dizzy gracing the side of this building.)
Yet another hidden treasure of Harlem.

The city of Mount Vernon, in Westchester county, just north of the Bronx, was the early residence of Jamaican-born, Dwight Myers, better known as the rapper “Heavy D.” For this reason, artist, Andre Trenier, thought it would be fitting for a mural of the rapper be painted in his honor. Outreach to the Chamber of Commerce and then Mayor Ernest Davis, led to the renovation and dedication of a park named in Dwight Myers’s honor. A 45 minute ride via public transportation from the South Bronx, found me there to photograph this well done mural early one Tuesday morning.
