Ok ,ok i know it looks a little grubby but i haven't had a chance to clean it up yet. but as you can see i have got myself an absolute gem here because as you'll be able to see from this pic there is an A pillar here that has no rust at all on both passenger and drivers side of the vehicle the car only has rust in , the heater box &(minor rust) in the rear gaurds and i do mean minor and some rust in the front passenger guard as you can see in the pic of the front guard. every capri i have come across has normally got rust in the A pillar or has had work on those area's mainly around the top near the top of the guard or on or around the door hinges. This car also has no rust in the subframe , floor,sills or footwells aswell i must add.
2 owners from new the ,first owner and then the ford dealers family where the people i purchased it from. always been a country car and showing 49,896 mile's on the clock not 100% sure genuine mile's but could quite possibly be as the the dealer had plenty of vehicle's on hand to drive and it never really left the area. The son of the owner is trying to chase up the books for it........ fingers X'd
This Sriram...a good friend, great sense of humor and great apetite. Went to a nice restaurant tonite and Sriram was excited about his new shirt and wanted a nice portrait wearing it and gave me chance to get my camera out after a long time and I am happy that I havn't got rust on my hands.

Some of my girls got rusted screws on their back plate, I replace them with new screws last month. Then I found out the old screws can be restored, so I just try it.

how did it get broken? i don't really know,
i noticed it when putting the bite-valve on it.
there is chrome coating on it which falls off even when it was new the other one i got it was falling off from the start when it was new, but this is the second one, and it did not do that, but after few months of use what you see in the picture is the result.
the magnet got rust on it and chrome is peels off.
Also seen branded as TFO hydration
but mine was in Nalgene brandaed packaging.
Its the same part as Osprey use.
The petrol tank has yet to be sorted out but in the meantime it's mounted in the chassis. It's got rust holes all over the place and the innards are a sea of red rust. It would be too fragile to use as is; it would choke the carb with rust unless I somehow clean it on the inside. I may have to open it with a can opener...

Our old woodstove and its chimney got rusted through.
I have happy memories of learning to use this stove. Creating a log fire in a little stove is a different skill from stacking a fireplace. The little round thing on the front of the stove lets you control the draft.
My new woodstove is pretty but this one was part of the family.

Yum, yeah right. This is how much salt they use on the roads. Have you all ever seen what salt does to vehicles around here? Oh, we got rust proof material on car frames now. Bullshit. Look at this photo and you all can tell right away that wouldn't help at all. I got rust eating up the wheel wells on the bed of my truck, and the frame is starting to get chewed up. Washing the vehicle only slows the process down.

The ochre colour’s due to iron oxide and iron hydroxide from mineral spring sources, so this really is a rust “mustache” around the pool
So, how did you get the Model A to look like real rust, Earl? Oh, well it hasn't been painted since 1929!
