A rare beasty, but unfortunately it's unlikely to ever turn a wheel in anger again. It's knackered. It's got rust in places even I've never seen rust and I've owned/own 3 Betas, 3 Deltas and 2 Dedras - plus been involved with many others.
Don't worry, they made 150... And I've got another one :-)

Dit woonhuis aan de Gouden-Handstraat in Brugge wordt gevormd door een 15de-eeuws diephuis met een trapgevel en een aanpalende 16de-eeuwse vleugel (foto), waarvan de goot rust op een korfboogfries. De 15de- en 16de-eeuwse kapconstructies bleven bewaard. In 2004 werd het pand beschermd als monument.

Guaranteed Milk Bottle Water Tower, Montreal, Quebec
A long-time landmark in the downtown section of Montreal, the tower and building where it rests atop have been designated a heritage site so they won't be torn down. However, the city hasn't performed any maintenance on the tower for many years so the paint has mostly peeled off and it's now covered with graffiti.
The water feature outside Millennium Point in Eastside City Park is back on!
But since the park was completed, the area below the jets entry points has got rusted, dripped down and dried to the bottom!

Omschrijving complexonderdeel 1
Vrijstaand KANTOORGEBOUW op samengestelde plattegrond van twee bouwlagen onder samengesteld zadel- en schilddak met rode kruispannen gedekt. De goot rust op geprofileerde klossen. De gevels zijn bepleisterd met uitzondering van de plint, de getoogde strekken boven de vensters en de cordonbanden ter hoogte van de strekken in de eerste bouwlaag en de boven- en onderdorpels van de vensters in de tweede bouwlaag. Deze waren oorspronkelijk in schoon metselwerk uitgevoerd, maar zijn tegenwoordig in de kleur van de bepleistering gesausd, waardoor het beoogde effect van de tegenstelling tussen bepleisterde en onbepleisterde geveldelen verloren is gegaan. De venstertypen die gebruikt zijn beperken zich voornamelijk tot twee- en drielichtsvensters met roedenbovenlichten. De voorgevel, aan de westzijde, heeft een symmetrische indeling van zeven vensterassen. Het middenrisaliet, dat een topgevelbeëindiging met steekkap heeft, is drie assen breed en heeft op de middenas de hoofdingang die geflankeerd wordt door een drielichtsvenster, waarboven een ontlastingsboog is gezet. In de tweede bouwlaag zijn drie drielichtsvensters geplaatst, terwijl in de top, die met verticaal vakwerk is versierd, een liggend zeslichtsvenster met een in het midden geplaatst dubbel draairaam en bovenlichten is gezet. Onder het vakwerk is een zaagtandlijst aangebracht.
De achtergevel heeft wat de hoofdstructuur betreft een gevelindeling die gelijk is aan de voorgevel. Het middenrisaliet heeft hier echter een kleinere voorsprong en bezit een groot drielichts trapvenster in de verdieping. Tegen het middenrisaliet stond oorspronkelijk een aanbouw van één bouwlaag onder een plat. Nu is het directiegebouw verbonden met een moderne uitbreiding die buiten de bescherming valt. Aan de rechterzijde van de achtergevel bevindt zich een serre onder lessenaarsdak waarin een samengesteld vijflichtsvenster is gezet. De zijgevels hebben een verschillende indeling. De gevel aan de noordzijde heeft drie vensterassen, terwijl de zuidgevel één vensteras heeft. Tegen laatstgenoemde gevel bevindt zich een moderne brandtrap.
Op het samengestelde dak zijn vier dakkapellen onder steekkappen geplaatst. Op de kruising van de nokken is een klokkenstoel gezet met gemetselde onderbouw en een houten opbouw met gesneden stijlen, waartegen wijzerplaten zijn aangebracht. Het torentje heeft als bekroning een uitzwenkend, met leien gedekte spits, waarboven een windvaan met de letters WAH is geplaatst.

Het directiegebouw van de W.A. Hoeve is van grote cultuurhistorische waarde alsmede van ensemble waarde als functioneel onderdeel van de W.A. Hoeve. Tevens is het gebouw van architectuurhistorische waarde vanwege het bouwtype en de oorspronkelijke detaillering van het exterieur.

I parked my trusty emerald green Kawasaki Z650 indoor in 2003 and never got the chance or money to take it out. After 17 years it sees the light of day and I've donated the bike to a Kawasaki dealer so he might get some parts from it or get it running.
I purchased this motorbike in 2002 and paid 550 euros for it. Had it checked for roadworthiness and got a licenseplate (120 euros). I think I've driven some 200 kilometers with it. Due to a dent in the tank it got rust in the tank, which in turn clogged the carburators. Fixing that is around 500 euros, coating the tank 150 euros and the get the carbs back up and running another 300 euros.

Results from this test. Top: XL Bristol, 2nd: Mohawk superfine text, 3rd: Arches text wove, 4th: I'm pretty sure this is Arches 90 lb. HP - can't read the note on it, too much rust (this paper is great - strong when wet, light and easy to fold, and the rust doesn't come through completey on the second side, giving two different patterns.)
These were laid on a baking sheet with some rusty objects placed on top. The baking sheet is also rusty, so the papers got rust from both side. The next photo in my stream shows the other side. After I removed them from the pan, they started to look a little boring, after all, rust is all pretty much the same color. So I dipped them in some old tea I used to soak some packets of paper, flower and leaves for eco prints. Some soaked in the tea for 30 minutes or so, some were only dipped in and then dried, depending on how much effect the tea had.

This is the C & H Sugar Factory in Crockett, CA. Ive been dying to shoot here, as this building is the COOLEST - it's windows are broken, cracked, etc...it's got rust and stains...and since it still runs, there are various stacks of smoke and steam coming out at various times of the day from ominous places.....it's quite spooky, actually.
Today I took a drive down there and parked down by the railroad tracks, hopped out of the car and began snapping. Immediately, a security guard yelled for me to leave, or else he was going to call the sheriff. I hate that....but left anyway. I didn't rush though, lol
However, it did make me think twice about coming here at night to shoot...guess that's not gonna happen :( I think the security at night is bound to be pretty tight. Oh well ;)
On the Hamilton Harbour Queen cruise, the captain tells that this is a Canada Steamship Line vessel, the Tadoussac. CSL is owned by Paul Martin, former PM of Canada, as the captain states.
My question for Paul Martin: Okay, now why don't you tell your employees to throw a few buckets of paint of Restoleum over this side of this vessel? Talk about Hamilton eyesores. I mean, rust on the sides of vessels so much so that it's visible from over a mile away? Com'n, Paul. And where's the city when it comes to the beautification of the waterfront when we've got rust buckets like this sitting in our waters and people from all over Canada -- and the world -- and I met many on this random Sunday cruise -- and this is one of the images see of our waterfront?
Get on the phone to Paul Martin. This is a Liberal town. Someone must read this and shame someone to get down to Home Depot and find some decent Debbie Travis "Autumnal Steel" paint chips for Paul to peruse.

I really like this background colour with the reds and pinks of the rosy Berberis. So glad we are allowed to plant barberry again now. For years, before we got rust resistant wheat, we were forbidden, as the barberry was an alternate host for wheat rust!
Ok ,ok i know it looks a little grubby but i haven't had a chance to clean it up yet. but as you can see i have got myself an absolute gem here because as you'll be able to see from this pic there is an A pillar here that has no rust at all on both passenger and drivers side of the vehicle the car only has rust in , the heater box &(minor rust) in the rear gaurds and i do mean minor and some rust in the front passenger guard as you can see in the pic of the front guard. every capri i have come across has normally got rust in the A pillar or has had work on those area's mainly around the top near the top of the guard or on or around the door hinges. This car also has no rust in the subframe , floor,sills or footwells aswell i must add.
2 owners from new the ,first owner and then the ford dealers family where the people i purchased it from. always been a country car and showing 49,896 mile's on the clock not 100% sure genuine mile's but could quite possibly be as the the dealer had plenty of vehicle's on hand to drive and it never really left the area. The son of the owner is trying to chase up the books for it........ fingers X'd
