Finally got my car back from the auto body shop. After $5,138.77 worth of repair, she's back on the road.
Asia's Got Talent held a fan meet at the Skating Rink in Marina Bay Sands on 8 May 2015. The nine finalists were presented to fans together with the judges. Games were played and some lucky people got to sing on stage while David Foster provided piano music.
Got some lovely roses from one of my friends yesterday.

After many attempts to catch a bolt of lightning I finally got one. I really need a tripod and a remote....so I don't get a terrible neck ache.
I was checking out the woodpile after one of the dads got done chopping up a bunch of logs on our camping trip. The grain of this one was so cool, I snapped some shots.

I've still got a fair bit of work from last summer to edit or upload. This is one from a batch in early May, I'd more or less switched to wildlife but as I was out and about in the early morning or the evening I always had a camera set up for anything else that came my way. These beautiful calm and sunny days that we had in May after our never ending winter were blissful and of course we ended up having twelve weeks of great weather, unheard of in the UK, certainly the northern half of it.
Another critter that visited the corn feeder. This is a red squirrel, and a very hyper creature ~ think Hammie in "Over the Hedge."

It is terrifying connecting up large battery banks. One slip of the metal wrench and you could and up with a very hefty conductor shorting out a very heft battery. It'll instantly weld itself to the terminals, and you've got instant fire.
Those are two Concorde PVX-2120L AGM batteries, 212 Ah each, for 5088 Wh of energy storage (well, not quite, since you can only use 80% or so).
