Remember, the GoPro has a super wide angle lens. This turtle is less than half a meter away. I lay on the bottom and watched these wonderful creatures graze. And it slowly came closer and closer, completely relaxed, until it was directly in front of me and slowly turned away.

He have no idea what's happening!

I've never seen a sepia that well camouflaged

Photo was taken in top of the monument Buzludja, but now not about that.

Photo taken with the GoPro in Sian Ka'an. The color of the sea was spectacular... I was feeling like I was in Paradise...

I didn't realise it at the time, but this is an image that can only come together under certain conditions. The frost is very rare and only happens a few days of the year and the light will only hit the tree for about 2 minutes before the frost begins to melt. Even if the forst doen't melt, it won't be long before the background is completely washed out with light. I doubt this image will happen again this year.

After a pre-dawn hike to the summit of Beinn a' Chrulaiste and a wonderful dawn shoot, I though the light was done. Stomping back down the hill, I was treated to a few seconds of glorious light streaming down the valley. I only had a moment to grab my camera and fire off a quick handheld bracketed exposure. Glad I did!

Well, what can I say? I live 5 minutes from this spot and have photographed it a hundred times, but I have never seen anything like this.

Looking out of my window, I saw the wind was changing and it was clear that a storm was brewing. I dashed to my car and headed for the place I know best. What a show this storm was; thunderous, swirling clouds, howling winds and hail stone! I could not have timed it better as it went as fast as it came. Brilliant!

The noise of the volcano and it's power as the lava flows in to the ocean is phenominal. A completely unstoppable force of nature and I can't believe I was lucky enough to have the chance to photograph it. It was, however, a shame that the experience was somewhat ruined by inconsiderate tourists with no respect for other people or the volcano.

You can watch my YouTube Video and see the entire 'behind the scenes' shoot. Warts and all.

I spent the day trying to capture as much of autumn as possible. I shot a vibrant, colourful sunrise, I photographed groves of autumn trees and I captured the beautiful mountains of Cumbria. It was a great day, but it was this image that got my attention more than anything.

This is a disused quarry lake with lots of autumn leaf litter floating on the surface of the water. The reflection you see in the background is that of the slate quarry walls. I just love how the little orange leaves contrast so well with dark slate.

A great little abstract number that I believe will be around for a long time.

I was asked to be part of a film for Dartmoor National Park to help promote wild camping. I had a great couple of days with a film crew, shooting some amazing areal sequences, hiking for miles across the moors, all finished off with a great night's camping. This is an image of my spot. Tent was kindly sponsored by Cotswold Outdoor & what a great tent it is too.
