Subtle illuminations in the distance

Kumbhalgarh; the place remained to be visited since long. The Fort has its own dynasty from Rana Kumbha. To visit, Fort you need to be patient and get the visualization of the history.
The walls in different settings in the forts fascinate me. This is not the main wall of 36 Kms. But it's within the Fort. The Kumbhalgarh fort could have made more amazing if attention to be gathered from all.

Glimpses snapped during the bonfire night on July 11th and the Protestant procession afterwards in Belfast. They mark the Battle of the Boyne in 1690, when the Protestant King William of Orange defeated the last British Catholic monarch, King James II. Bonfires were lit to welcome - and guide - King William III the night before.

A candid snapped in the Ozora Festival mud, turned by 90 degrees in order to get a full Tool style visual experience. The mud splash was caught as it happened, I just boosted the colors and filled out the patches in the background where needed to create a time-portal like feeling.

A selection of my impressions snapped at the Ballinasloe Horse Fair (County Galway, Ireland), the oldest horse fair in Europe, held since the first half of the 1700s. It is a traditional meeting place of the Irish Travellers, who resemble in their lifestyle to the Roma (Gypsies), yet there are not genetically connected with them. The Travellers diverged from the Irish about 500 years ago. www.nature.com/articles/srep42187

A candid snap. This little girl was collecting donations at a charity concert in Krakow, held with the aim of raising funds for clinical care of children (organized by Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy, the biggest non-profit, charity organisation in Poland). Don't know if she had a certain target/amount of donations and failing to reach it was the cause for her visible broken heart and sadness, did her teammates had more success with asking the visitors for a donation, did someone she has asked refused a donation in a rude manner. She just needed a hug and reassurance she is doing a noble act helping her peers in children's hospitals.

Glimpses snapped during the Savaria Historical Carnival in Szombathely, Hungary, mostly captured during the procession. The city was an important settlement in the Roman era, hence is the focus of the event on this period. The gladiator fights were one of the highlights of the event.

Google will tell you with its auto-populate search feature.
You don't even have to type the "about" in "I fantasize about..."
Just get as far as the "ab" and it fills in.
Unfortunately, it's not all good news. ;-(
Google is the new Confessor.
And people even fantasize about what other people are fantasizing about. Obviously. Because I looked this up.
Google does feel like a great big unconscious jellyfish, quite often. I know it's supposed to be reality-based, but I think more people see it as a sort of sensuous responder.

I was lucky to snap this storytelling candid, I was standing right beside this mother and daughter.
One of the highlights (for kids) of Rekawka Festival, the Slavic medieval gathering in Krakow, Poland, is when the reenactors dressed up as warriors and noble medieval citizens throw candies, coins and apples from the top of the Krakus mound downhill, where a flock of hyperactive kids are waiting for those goodies, better said, they are climbing up the mound as there is no tomorrow, to catch as much as possible candies and coins. As we can see from my candid, whoever is stuck only with an apple, feels like a loser.

A cinematic scene in the bear's den at Palic Zoo, Subotica, Vojvodina, Serbia.
Betsy is confronting Bernie after she sniffs the scent of another female bear on his fur.
"Bernard...Look...Look straight into my eyes! Are you seeing someone behind my back?...Ohhh...So it is true what Francine the Fox gossiping?! How could you?!" (Prologue)
"You lousy sack of fur! I gave you the best years of my life, and now this...I hunted for you to have fresh game meat on the table for dinner, I have brought up our two cubs all by myself, you were always "out with your buddies for a beer" after work...Who is she?!! I should have chosen Gerald Grizzlestein over you after highschool, I would've been respected like a queen...Pack your bags and get the hell out of my life!!!" (The Culmination)

A candid street candid snapped during the procession of the dance teams at the International Folklore Festival in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. This dancer was a member of the troupe Komenka from New Orleans, USA. In my superimposed storyline, this man is staying at the port of Atlantis witnessing the dying minutes of the island, swallowed by the earthquake/tsunami.

A glimpse snapped during the 75 year Commemoration of the Liquidation of the Krakow Ghetto. This candid constellation is like a time travel to the event itself 75 years ago, your Jewish neighbors forcefully taken away from their homes to death camps. In the superimposed storyline, this girl has just seen her playground friend in the mass, waving her for the last time.

A first batch of my candid impressions snapped at Day 2 of the Surva International Festival of Masquerade Games in Pernik, Bulgaria, member of the Federation of European Carnival Cities. Surva is listed as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by the UNESCO. "It is a ritual symbolizing the cleansing power of the new beginning with wishes for health and a bountiful harvest. Bulgarian masquerade rituals go back thousands of years to the earliest pagan times. Masquerade games were practiced as the new year took over from the old and during nature’s spring awakening. The message they conveyed was of banishing the powers of evil with wishes for health and fertility during what are known as the “dirty days” of the year." (Source: Ilka Dimitrova, www.bnr.bg) I´ve captured an immense amount of candids, about 10k, hence it is very hard to select the best snaps. Аppreciate all the likes and comments, much more Day 2 snaps coming up and Day 3 impressions as well, hopefully, soon!
