The MG ZS is essentially a sports-tuned version of the Rover 45 small family sedan.
This particular ZS is the ZS180, which was the flagship model, and was powered by a 2.5 litre Rover KV6 engine - as the name suggests, it was a V6 engine, and it put out around 175 HP (MG tended to round up the numbers, hence why it's a ZS180, not a ZS175 - marketing...)
The ZS180 also received uprated front and rear disc brakes, an antilock braking system (ABS), an electronic brakeforce distribution system (EBD), various improvements to the suspension (including lowering springs and uprated shock absorbers), sporty alloy wheels, a sporty body kit, and front and rear spoilers.
The MG ZS was produced at MG Rover's plant at Longbridge, Birmingham, between 2001 and 2005, with production ending due to the collapse of the MG Rover group.
This rather unusual specimen is a Smart ForTwo that is being used as a mobile advertisement for a company specializing in artificial grass. It's covered in the stuff.
Spotted randomly in the car park of a local branch of a nation-wide tyre-fitter chain. It was after business hours, and I was walking the dog, so I didn't want to go into the car park to get a look from any other angle. If I see it again, I'll be sure to get some more shots.
For as much as Vegas has evolved, the view of this intersction remained almost identical for 25 years. Las Vegas, Nevada
