Ruht, ihr Ithaker..! Schonet des Menschen Blutes und
trennet euch schnell voneinander..!
Und zu Odysseus sprach die heilige Göttin Athene..,
Erfindungsreicher Odysseus, halte nun ein,
und ruhe vom allverderbenden Kriege..!
Also sprach sie, und freudig gehorcht Odysseus
der Göttin

This beautiful Bentley Continental convertible is a rebadged Rolls-Royce Corniche II. It was a very limited production model - while Rolls-Royce manufactured 6,262 Corniche cars between 1971 and 1995, only 561 Bentley Continentals were ever made (total of 6,823 cars).
Both the RR Corniche and the Bentley Continental were powered by the 6.75 litre (412 cubic inch) Rolls-Royce/Bentley L410, a naturally-aspirated, fuel-injected, overhead valve (OHV) 90° V8. It develops around 135 kW (205 HP) and peak torque of around 540 Nm (398 lb/ft). It had an advertised top speed of 195 km/h (121 MPH) and could accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH in 11.1 seconds. The L410I V8 was mated to a GM Turbo Hydramatic THM-400 three-speed automatic transmission, and had a huge 108 litre (28.6 US Gallon) fuel tank. These cars were built for comfortable, quiet, effortless cruising, rather than for outright speed or acceleration.
Note that the Bentley Continental R, Continental S, Continental T, Continental GT, Continental GTC, and Continental Flying Spur are all unrelated to the original Continental / RR Corniche.
