The drive from Thermopylae to Delphi was an ear-popper. Where the route cuts west at Thermopylae the road goes over the mountains. When your ears pop, you appreciate just why the Persians had to go through the Spartans at Thermopalye: these mountains are tall and hard to cross.

The first apartment I ever lived in. I'd like to say "on my own" but I had three roommates. And the crankiest landlady ever. She made me live by the BYU Honor Code even though I wasn't going to YBU at all. I almost got evicted because one of my friends was smoking ON THAT SIDEWALK, and that was against the Honor Code (although not against city law). Keep in mind that I wasn't even smoking, and that will give you an idea of how WARPED Utah County is.
