Simpson Meadow Trail (Copper Creek Trail) and South Fork Trail (Paradise Meadow Trail) to Mist Falls

I have a habit of scouting out some of the most obscure places on earth. Some of the discoveries are simply astounding, you learn a lot. This one just looks like a piece of art in my mind, so I am sharing.

this is where i grew up! 10 minutes east of crystal lake. you can see the little house, two-track, field and the beginning of the woods behind the house. neat!

Google maps puts little roads and driveways willy-nilly all over the place. They don't exist. They're not mapped roads that have been closed or never built. They're just wrong. (And the house marked as mine isn't, so what's that about?)
