Marriage proposal seen on a rooftop via Google Maps.
I mentioned this along with a few more marriage proposals seen elsewhere via other satellite or aerial photos in my blog article about some of my comments on rooftop ads, and the recent interview with me in a USAToday article.

Scott’s Bar is located on Rose Street - Edinburgh’s main pedestrian shopping street and as such, is busy all year. Steeped in local history, Scott’s Bar is Rose Street’s oldest pub. Dating back to 1790 it is viewed by many as an Edinburgh institution. Scott’s of Rose Street is named after a notorious landlady ‘Ma Scott’ who’s fierce reputation lives on to this day, making it extremely popular with tourists looking for an authentic Edinburgh atmosphere. {Bar Website}
My last hood, before becoming a homeowner. The place I'm most familiar with. I should probably do a larger zoomed out shot, but this covers most of downtown.
Site of an extinct volcano crater, the Cerro Prieto, located near Mexicali in Baja California (Mexico). This image as seen in Google Maps.
Apparently, a lot of visitors to the site have decorated it with their graffiti, drawn huge enough to be seen from high above.
The graffiti appears to have been drawn with the intention of being seen by people looking down into the crater from the eastern rim of the crater. Here's a closeup shot of it, taken from the ground.
A similar volcanic crater in Iceland is also decorated with graffiti of many hikers who have visited it over time.
