People are already sad about the news...Outside the Google HQ in Wudaokou. The sign says "Google Bai Bai." Another said "Google wait for return."
Google has a neat little application for viewing their maps on your Windows Media enabled mobile phone.
The quality of this photo is a little lacking, and my screen is somewhat better than it appears in this picture, but I'm pleased to say that much of the functionality of the web version of Google Maps is available in the mobile version.

On some videos, currently I have seen it on Google videos, you can dim the lights and open the video in a new window. Apparently, this feature has been around for some months. I gues, I have not kept up well with my Google video subscription. for I would have seen it then already earlier.
I'm as easy going as the next guy on typos. IMs and casual email messages have dulled our alertness to such things, but some things just aren't acceptable. How did this article go from Google's CEO, a Berkley professor, a tech editor and a copy editor at Newsweek to make it into production? How does that happen, I mean seriously! Not only in production, but the second word in the lead graph?

I was driving down the street and saw one of the Gooogle Street View camera cars and decided to turn the tables on them. The driver was obviously not happy with my pressence and tried to elude me. But I caught up with him again and took this video.
