Celebrities joined thousands of women wearing decorated bras in aid of the breast cancer charity ‘Walk the Walk’. Since its launch 17 years ago, the charity has raised over £85m. The walkers had the option of a 13.5 mile ‘half moon’ route or 26.2 mile ‘full moon’ route, setting off just before 11pm. Alison Moyet poses in a bra t-shirt before setting off on the walk. It was my pleasure to be the chairman of Ashcombe Village Club for another year.
80 villagers and less than 200 members of this not-for-profit club in the heart of rural Devon. Awesome.
Clowns Without Borders is by essence a non-typical NGOs. Whereas other organizations help poverty-stricken populations with food, shelter, donations, CWB supplies a no-less fundamental - yet scarce - resource : laughter. Sending professional performers, actors, dancers in refugee camps across the world, this organization tries to heal the wounds of war through comedy, allowing children and parents alike to forget - if only for a a few days - the ordeals they have just been through. CWB brings together an amazing array of artists and social workers, and it has been an honor to volunteer as a photographer for their "Sudan trip" volunteer party. Saunders was succesfully treated for breast cancer in 2009.

The first batch of my impressions from the largest women racing event in the world, the 2024 VHI Women's Mini Marathon (10km) held today, June 2nd, in Dublin, Ireland. More than 25,000 women ran today.
I've never pose my event subjects, all snaps are candid. There are three types of photos - snapped before the race, at the start of the race and at the finish of the race.
The youngest contestant was a 14 year old girl, the oldest - a 93 year old lady!
Many of the runners ran for charity, raising funds for a noble cause.
Further upload(s) to come, will try to search for the names of my candid subjects, it will be somewhat easier for those who ran in their athletic club jerseys.
