Hong Kong International Airport (IATA: HKG, ICAO: VHHH) is the main airport in Hong Kong. It is colloquially known as Chek Lap Kok Airport (赤鱲角機場), being built on the island of Chek Lap Kok by land reclamation, and also to distinguish it from its predecessor, the closed Kai Tak Airport.

Flowers were placed in St. Paul's Cemetery, perhaps for a single loved one, or for all that fell victim to the tragedy of 9/11.

The original theatre was built in 1860 and operated as the Douglas Theatre but was destroyed by fire in 1911. The current building opened in 1912 and has since operated under several different names including Brennan's Amphitheatre, Palace Theatre and Apollo Theatre. MGM purchased the theatre in 1940 and it then operated as a cinema under the names St. James Theatre and Metro. Read more about it's history at www.palace.com.au/history.php
