The film, Marines Are Gone, was screened at Curzon cinema in Soho, as a part of the Korean Classics section, based on the Korean War. The film screening was introduced by Dr. Mark Morris.
During the Korean War a squad of Gang Dae-sik helps to lead the Incheon Landing operation and, after taking Seoul, makes a push towards the North. Though the soldiers witness many horrors, they are still able to show a compassionate side, shown when they adopt an orphaned girl, Yeong-hui. The squad and girl lean on each other for support through the nightmare of the war only to come up against the unbeatable odds of the Chinese army. Will anyone be able to return home.

"You can waste a whole lifetime
Trying to be
What you think is expected of you
But you’ll never be free
May as well go fishing..."
- Chris Rea/Gone Fishin'
gone fishin'
this was one enigmatic man... he not only raised and showed Arabian Stallions, he costumized them for various shows, shoots and charities...here he is kickin' back and chillaxin' prior to a big show...i think this shows one of the values of fishing...a calm before the storm!
