Alvise's Harpsichord
This was Alvise's hobby and pride and joy, a harpsichord he was commissioning from some of Venice's finest artisans. It wasn't quite yet finished when we visited his apartment this day.
Remembering and celebrating my last trip to Venice, three years ago.

Lots of pretty colors in this New Leaf bracelet . It is made of polymer clay and back and edges are finished with gold leaf pen. Earrings are made the same way.
I have two empire scrolls so one needs to be re-homed. It's in excellent condition, a few utensil marks but that's all!
TRADED
"To commemorate the reunion with his son C.B Hill and family this panel was painted in honor of the Blessed Virgin by C.F Hill".
C.B. Hill was my maternal grandfather. He was from England and came to Canada as a young man. I believe this altar front was painted during a visit by my great-grandfather to Canada. It is 6'x3' and is difficult to photograph because of all the gold leaf and also difficult to decorate around. My great-grandfather also did stained glass in churches,
Here is a link about my grandfather - strange that someone who would be 121 can be googled.
Goofing off when lack of inspiration hits. Made these "eyes" while I was sick and hated the result. Should have stayed in bed ! I think it's one of the worse things I've done in a long time.
These expressions cover pretty much the feelings I had at that instant, when the resin cured. :o) "Oh noooo !"
