This commissioned non-transforming Generation One Devastator stands over a towering 15 inches tall! Built using the typical components, the Constructicons have been fused together, but given improved articulation. Head is on a ball joint, shoulders allow more posability, lower arm swivel, hands articulated, elbows, hips, waist, knees, lower legs swivel, foot pivot (Scrapper leg) and Mixmaster foot rotates and pivots at the heel. Heels add extra support for cooler more dynamic poses. Added lots of light battle damage and 3D dirt, mud and rust; the way Devastator should be! Painted a custom blend of paints the neon green is accurate to the original Generation 1 Constructicon toys.
I am been hesitant to share photos of friends and family. But these are pretty special. And my friend recently died. His widow has opened his Scottsdale Collection for charitable and special events.
Clive had about 70 of his favorite autos in Scottsdale and about 250 of his favorite cars in his museum in Arvada Co.
In his private collection, Clive did not identify these cars. I think this is a 1919 Kissel Speedster 6-45 "Gold Bug". Correction will be appreciated.

Tracing the evolution of sports cars is fairly easy until you get back to about 1945. Cars of the Post-War sports car craze are easy to distinguish from more mundane automobiles. Trying to trace it back before the war gets a little trickier. Sure, there were race cars and specials and cars you could drive to Le Mans, race, and drive home. But as far as the earlier cars go, you’re looking at Genesis (or one of a few that qualify for that title).
The Mercer Raceabout and the Stutz Bearcat are two of America’s first sports cars. The Kissel 6-45 Speedster, nicknamed “Gold Bug” (due to it’s signature color) is the third. The Kissel Motor Car Company was founded by Louis Kissel in Hartford, Wisconsin in 1906. They built high-quality cars, trucks, and emergency vehicles. After WWI ended, they saw a market niche they could fill for the exciting decade to come. So in 1919 they introduced the Gold Bug Speedster and it was far and away their most popular model.
The low-slung two seater – with two additional seats that extend out of the body over the running boards for the crazy and/or brave – is powered by a 61 horsepower six-cylinder engine. Performance is sporty – thus it being known as an early sports car. Kissel closed shop in 1930 after producing some 35,000 vehicles. Only about 150 are known to exist today.

Sentinel is non-transforming, but has added articulation; including adjustable wings on his back (from V. SP) fakebuster's awesome articulated hands (via shapeways) head on ball joint, and loads more. I replaced the stock LED with a super bright 3mm blue LED which goes to a switch and power pack on Sentinel's back. His shield and gun clip into a custom 5mm post (via shapeways) also on his back.
Custom rebuilt chest with clear windows. Added custom hoses, attachments, wires, the works. Also built Sentinel his custom "Cosmic Rust Gun" inspired and based on Nizzi's concept work (seen here : images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110707141721/transformer...)
The gold ladybug is actually the golden tortoise beetle which is native to the Americas. They are variable in color from reddish-brown with black spots through gold, and often metallic, earning it the nickname "goldbug"

"Alpha Trion," Optimus Prime greeted his visitor.
"Indeed. I hope you are well, Optimus," the ancient Transformer said.
"I am unsure about that. Is that a new gun, Alpha Trion," Prime said.
"Yes. It came to me. I feel whole with it. It is a strange sensation," Alpha Trion said. "Are you certain about your plan? That was an unusual mission you had assigned Crosscut."
"Of that, I am certain. I feel that something unnatural is about to happen... and steps need to be taken to mitigate it."
"Interesting. Tell me what is going on," Alpha said.
"I don't understand."
"Yes you do."
"It is strange. I looked at Bumblebee earlier, and I remembered different... realities about him. He was killed by a Bounty Hunter, then rebuilt by a Junkion. He was destroyed by a human army, and then rebuilt by them with Ratchet's help. He was damaged in a hate plague, and then rebuilt. Each time he was restored to life with the new identity of Goldbug... yet I look at him, and none of that has happened... he is still Bumblebee. Am I going mad?" Optimus Prime said.
"No, my friend," Alpha Trion said. "What you are is seeing across realities. Each of those events did happen... in different versions of realities. The fact that you can see through them is proof that something is about to happen."
"How is this possible? Am I the only one?"
"Anyone else, simply dismisses it as dreams, or push it out of their minds for the sake of sanity. As for why you, why do you think?"
"The Mistress of the Flame would say it is because I am the Arisen, but I suspect it is because of the Matrix of Leadership."
Alpha Trion chuckled. "While she is close, you are not the Arisen. It takes millennia for one of the original Primes to mature. Your extra knowledge is tied to your close bond with the Matrix of Leadership. The Matrix is starting to mature. It wont be long now, I suspect. Only a few more generations."
"Until what?"
"Good question."

This is a commissioned project; Ultimate Bumblebee (Dark of the Moon) While he is non-transforming, he's got tons of articulation and LED work; Cannon, Headlights, and eyes (x2) Each LED goes to it's own independent power source and on/off switch which are all neatly organized and easily accessible (to replace batteries) Also articulated Bee's left hand (on ball joint with finger and thumb articulation) Added new deco to his legs and back, fixed feet so that they sit flat footed in dynamic poses.

Goldbug is so far topping my list of favorite hot springs. It's a 2.5 mile hike starting between Salmon and Challis Idaho.

Bumblebee is the "little brother" of the heroic or protagonistic Autobot faction and a mascot, constantly striving to prove himself in the eyes of the other robots - especially his leader, Optimus Prime. This often causes him to take risks that put him in danger. Although a bit of a wise-cracker, he is a capable and reliable messenger and spy. He was later reconstructed into a stronger, more mature form as Goldbug.
Bumblebee retains some elements from his Generation 1 design, such as the iconic horn-like pieces in his head, which are articulated in the films. The cautious but brave Bumblebee was given a different alternate mode from his original G1 incarnation, instead of a Volkswagen Beetle, he transforms into a Chevrolet Camaro. In the shot I, have tried to recreate a scene of the Dark of the Moon movie, where Bee looks at the sky as the Decepticons enter the Earth.
Masterpiece Galvatron is a commissioned piece. he began as an Ultra scale/size Energon Megatron, added new articulated hands, arm mounted cannon and other stuff. Several parts come off a G1 Galvatron. Matrix of Leadership & custom chain included too.
Here's a commissioned piece. The client originally wanted something earlier, but because I was/am backed up, he changed his project to this guy. The goal was to make Jetwing Prime as accurate as possible to the character in Dark of the Moon. Because the online images were so limited, I caved in and bought the blu ray for reference. The project began as both a Jetwing Prime figure, and DMK model kit. Parts from each were switched and swapped all over, so that he's got a convincing look to him, as well stability in the right places (his jet-pack, guns and other add-ons are quite heavy and the DMK joints could not have held him up) The toughest part of this project was getting Prime (mainly his legs) to support this jet pack. The jet pack pivots outward, has 2 LEDs in the main thrusters. The thrusters were also completely redone, flamed, pin-striped, etc. The large wings were cut and beveled (like in movie) These also pivot inward/outward and up and down. the smaller wings are mounted to the large thrusters, and pivot and swivel. Tons of custom colors, mainly house of kolors, but even some acrylics (that blue is a PITA to get right otherwise), bunch of alclad chrome and other paints. There are also TWO LED lights in Prime's head. All the LEDs go to the same (accessible) battery pack and on/off switch located within the jet pack. Also, scratch built the "connectors" which go from Prime's forearms to the jet pack/wings.

Access to this hot springs requires a hike from the trailhead which starts at the end of the county road. The first 1/4 mile of the trail passes through private property with public access provided by an easement. Dogs must be leashed while crossing the private property. This is a commissioned piece of War for Cybertron's MEGATRON! The main modification done here was the swap in of new hands, which can hold 5mm weapons. These new hands split into halves (like the stock toy's) and hinge into the tank (alt modes) treads. Speaking of 5mm weapons, this custom created Megamace is c/o fakebuster, it's amazing! I went to town with tons of battle damage, colors, details, etc. The "glowing" parts were custom blended, from purple on the outsides to white in the middle, to give a nice glowing effect. Megatron's ready to lay a whooping on Prime. His arm canon also has a 3mm purple LED, with easy-access batteries and an on/off switch up top.
