Now Preserved 2205 comes back to The West Midlands for Wythall Transport Museam on 13 October 2013. Former Operator was Shoreys Travel of Maulden. 2205 left Wolverhampton in June 2001

Despite the fact that this was late September, and that there had been snow in the high country a few days prior, these Asters were blooming, clinging to the last little bit of late summer in the alpine here on the edge of Gog Creek.

Travel West Midlands MCW Metrobus Mk I 2209 GOG 209W heads for Sutton Coldfield on service 451 at West Bromwich on 19.05.98.
Travel West Midlands MCW Metrobus Mk I 2248 GOG 248W is seen in Chelmsley Wood on 09.11.96. One of a very small number of Mk Is that gained any type of route branding.
Double deckers had been rare in Milton Keynes since Milton Keynes Citybus rid itself of the VR's it inherited from United Counties and later Cambus Holdings. A few were in the fleet to help busy school journies like this ex WMPTE MCW Metrobus GOG 275W.
Just started this a couple of days ago. It's a gog on a skinny, tall old window with 2 panes...this is the top pane. Hard to tell but the small circles are red, flower pedals are orange...planning on grouting in black and painting the window black as well.

This is the first rooster that I made. I've since made 3 more for commissions. Always fun to mix up the colors on each one.
West Midlands Travel MCW Metrobus Mk I 2196 GOG 196W is seen in Wolverhampton Bus Station on 13.08.94 on service 501 Tettenhall Wood. I cant recall off the top of my head where it had just been transferred in from, but it has yet to receive a set of destination blinds. This bus was previously based at Wolverhampton for a while in the late 80s in Spot the Dots and WM Travelcard adverts.
EX-2216 now works for Dunn Line, Lincoln as an open topper for the Whitby Tour. This bus has since been repainted into Veolia Livery still working as the Whitby tour open topper. as is one of only a few Metrobus Mk1`s surviving today. Here is EX-2216 wearing this smart Silver Livery.

WMPTE 2145, receiving attention at Walsall Works 02/11/1985. The bus had its roof badly damaged in1985. This was allocated to Hartshill at this time.

2162 wears an allover advert for BT. The same advert is carried by 2181 based at Birmingham Central. 2162 is seen working 20 to Bedworth.
