More work on my O gauge layout.

Beginnings of bridges hillside and cuttings

MkI Metrobus 2092 (GOG 92W) on a quiet Sunday afternoon in Colmore Circus, Birmingham on the Kingstanding to Hall Green cross-city service, summer 1985.

X-ray Gogs. At the center of the eye, you can see the lines of fabric sandwiched between the cardboard. The diffraction is supposed to simulate an X-ray. Needless to say this was taken for the Macro Mondays theme of fake/bogus.

Strobist info: SB-R200 @ 1/10 power into a homemade softbox on the right. A second, snooted SB-R200 at 1/40 from the rear to highlight the red eye fabric.

Travel West Midlands MCW Metrobus Mk I 2103 GOG 103W enters Wolverhampton Bus Station on service 559 from Ashmore Park on 15.12.99. This had been a BC bus for many years and came to Wolverhampton towards the end of its days.

For now the last one in the splash series.

It is fun doing this and also wildly addictive, but for now it's enough.

Next week hopefully a shoot with some good friends near the coastal region of Holland to shoot some land and seascape pictures.

Please drop your comments if you feel like doing so and i would appreciate some constructive criticism.

Howletts' third Metrobus was without a doubt the shabbiest vehicle in the fleet. No stranger to the area, it was withdrawn for scrap by MK Metro in 2002 but Howletts bought it on the day it was due to be collected by the scrapman. Despite appearances, it must have been mechanically sound as it gave eight more years of service and may have gone on for longer had it not collided with a petrol station canopy.

Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs at daybreak facing west as the sun (behind) casts a golden glow on the mountains. Every time I visit Colorado, and return to Kansas City, I am left wondering how anyone there gets any work done with views like this all around.

Travel Merry Hill based 2172 was the only Metrobus Mk1 to carry this Livery. Looking very smart and different to other Metrobuses. A few Leyland Lynxs/Volvo Citybuses was painted in this livery. Metrobuses at Merry Hill main role was School Services plus 264/265 and 241 runnings. They was all withdrawn by 2001. With Mk2A`s 3034/3035/3096 lasting until late 2002.
