One of the Lions protecting the Vajdahunyad castle outside the main gate. The dracula looking castle can be seen from the Heroes square, built in 1896 for the millennium originally in wood and plaster cast, was then rebuilt due to its popularity in stone.
- Day Four -
We parked at a little picnic area on Two Medicine Lake. When we walked down to the shore it was absolutely breathtaking. The breeze from the water, the crisp air on our skin, the smell of pine & sweet grass. Everything about this place was majestic. We felt totally alive, we danced, we hugged, we sang. I even splashed a handful of water on my face just to feel refreshed. I always wanted to witness a place like this in my lifetime, and we did. There is truly no place like Montana.
- Day One -
Our latest adventure: Tennessee and the Great Smoky Mountains!
Mom and I drove 9 hours to a bed & breakfast, Berry Springs Lodge, in Sevierville. We arrived in the late afternoon and unpacked. We were absolutely amazed by the view from our private balcony and how lovely the lodge was.
After we finished unloading, we rode around the town to scout out some places for the coming days. Back at the lodge, we ate some dinner, relaxed in the hot tub, and got ourselves ready for bed.
Before we fell asleep, Mom wondered what direction our balcony faced, in hopes that we could see the sunrise the next morning, and sure enough - we were facing east!
We woke up early the next morning and sat on the balcony, watching the light shift from a pale peach to a deep orange, spanning across all the clouds in the sky.

- Day Four -
We started our day early and headed east towards Glacier National Park. Instead of taking the main road to the entrance, I suggested driving the longer way around to explore, why not? We are glad we took the path less traveled because we saw some awesome sights all around the Apgar Mountains!
We found and kept some really neat rocks from here. It was a nice little campground area.
One of the many little cascades down Grinds Brook in the Peak District. I got very wet feet trying to get this shot.

I found this absolutely GORGEOUS location... Its literally down my street, and its just a huge park-like area with nothing but trees, long grass, flowers, and sunshine. I have been waiting to shoot there since I moved into my new house back in March, and today I got my chance. My legs were scratched to shit from thorns, picky bushes and plants, and twigs, but it was totally worth it. It's nothing a little polysporin can't help, right?
P.S I'm so in love with my new 5D MK III.

After our trip around Apgar Mountains, we headed eastward. We drove route 2 through the Rocky Mountains until we met the rolling hills and plains. It felt like we were in a western movie; we even saw buffalo to top it off! We drove out to the town of Browning, where we met a woman in a curio store. She was very knowledgeable & gave us a map to our next destination - Two Medicine Lake & Running Eagle Falls. We saw some beautiful & curious things along the way!

This is probably one of my favorite photographs I've ever taken.
Walking down one of the many small picturesque and steep streets within the Albaicín. These cobblestone streets are all so common within the Albaicín! No visit to the south of Spain is complete until you have visited one of Andalusia’s most unique neighborhoods, the charming Arabic quarter filled with Muslim influence. The Albaicín, is located in the city of Granada, across the Darro River from the Alhambra fortress and palace. This Moorish “barrio” is just one of the many treasures of traveling through Andalusia and southern Spain.
