Der G63 muss 1x jährlich in die Werklstatt. Mercedes unterscheidet hier zwischen einem A- und einem B-Service. Beide Inspektionen wechseln sich jeweils ab. Der Inspektionsintervall liegt für den G 63 bei 20.000 Kilometer oder einem Jahr.
The G63 has to go to the workshop once a year. Mercedes differentiates here between an A and a B service. Both inspections alternate. The inspection interval for the G 63 is 20,000 kilometers or one year.

1979 anfangs für das iranische Militär entwickelt, hat sich die G-Klasse inzwischen, je nach Motorisierung, zum Statussymbol für Vorstadtmütter, Fußballprofis und Rapper gemausert. Top-Modell und absoluter Krawall-Bruder ist dabei der Mercedes-AMG G 63.
Initially developed in 1979 for the Iranian military, the G-Class has meanwhile blossomed into a status symbol for suburban mothers, football professionals and rappers, depending on the engine. The top model and absolute riot brother is the Mercedes-AMG G 63.
I had the chance to shoot this immaculate 911 SC G-model on the roof of the stunning new Porsche museum at Stuttgart Zuffenhausen this summer.
For me this is one of the eternal top 10 car designs!
bb built customers the cars they couldn't get from the manufacturer. Its first big coup was a Porsche. In the 1970s, Porsche announced that the body of their 911 Targa was too soft for a Turbo Targa. For Buchmann, this was less a rejection than a challenge. After all, even back then, he always wanted to have the fastest car. And it had to be a convertible. Engine, chassis and aerodynamics were always Porsche's priority. bb focused on equipment, interior design and quality. With various stiffening measures, Buchmann and his team created a Targa body with a wider rear-end. Through an advertising cooperation with polaroid, the car was given a legendary paint job with accents in rainbow colors. The Porsche 930 Turbo Targa, also known as the Rainbow Porsche, was born and instantly famous.

Serving as the interim model between the base 911 and the fearsome 930-generation Turbo, the Carrera 3.0 was the top-of-the-range naturally aspirated 911 between 1976 and 1978. Its performance matched the outgoing 911 2.7 RS, while the 2,994-cc flat-six offered increased tractability and reliability. Celebrated as one of Stuttgart’s great driver’s cars, just 2,564 coupés and 1,123 Targas were built.
This left-hand-drive example was completed on 26 March 1976 before being delivered to its first owner via Porsche Belgium, Luxembourg. Attractively finished in special order Sienna Metallic over a Brown Beige leatherette interior and the much sought-after chrome package that it still retains, it was further specified with the desirable five-speed manual transmission, forged alloy wheels, front and rear spoilers, Koni shock absorbers, a sunroof, and white fog lights. A Blaupunkt Bamburg radio with additional amplifier rounded off an impressive specification.
The accompanying history file details restoration work started in 2018, with hundreds of photographs documenting each stage of a comprehensive rebuild said by the consignor to have taken four years and over 1,400 man-hours to complete. The car is accompanied by several invoices for parts; a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity confirming matching-numbers chassis, engine, and gearbox; in addition to keys, a jack, and owner’s manual.
This beautifully restored 911 Carrera 3.0 is a fine example of its type, finished to a high standard and in a desirable specification.

The original Porsche 911 (pronounced nine eleven, German: Neunelfer) was a sports car made by Porsche AG of Stuttgart,Germany. The famous, distinctive, and durable design was introduced in autumn 1963 and built through 1989. It was succeeded by a modified version, internally referred to as Porsche 964 but still sold as Porsche 911, as are current models.
Mechanically, the 911 was notable for being rear engined and air-cooled. From its inception the 911 was modified both by private teams and the factory itself for racing, rallying and other types of automotive competition. The original 911 series is often cited as the most successful competition car ever, especially when its variations are included, mainly the powerful 911-derived 935 which won 24 Hours of Le Mans and other major sports cars races outright against prototypes.
MY 1974 was the introduction of impact bumpers to conform with low speed protection requirements of US law, these bumpers being so successfully integrated into the design that they remained unchanged for 15 years. In 1974 the engine size was increased to 2687 cc giving an increase in torque. The use of K-Jetronic CIS Bosch fuel injection in two of the three models in the line up— the 911 and 911S models, retaining the narrow rear wings of the old 2.4, now had a detuned version of the RS engine producing 150 and 175 PS (110 and 129 kW) respectively.
