The remanence of our thanksgiving dinner...Deep fried turkey, ham and all the trimmings, and just a few morsels left. 6 families, 25 people, not bad for being camping up in the bush. Feeling Thankful!

On that cruise, I ended up in the infirmary after overindulging in cashews and chocolate acquired during our stop in Seattle.
How embarrassing at my age. My penance was missing the trip to Butchart Gardens in Victoria, BC.
This photo has given me so much hell over the past 24 hours. I had to refix the negatives because the fix was insufficient, BUT they were sitting around in the light for about a week. But, it ended up fine. AMAZING actually.

The lovely lady of OPW told us this was the symbol of gluttony. I think this is the symbol of bellyache...
These young performers from the Newry Studio of Irish Dancing make a spectacular addition to the already wonderful performance of Celtic Sounds: Reimaginings at this year's (2023) Adelaide Fringe Festival.
Not only do I leave after a performance singing in my head but dancing well into the evening and next day too!
Obviously, Gluttony shares many traits with an obese person. However, I wanted to also exhibit more animal imagery, as we humans are animals ourselves, albeit more civilised ones. I scraped away at the mouth of Gluttony, and this conjured up images of dried up vomit and disease, pointing towards Gluttony no longer using that mouth, or having to suffer this as a punishment for his sins.
