Rain and wind storm on 3/20/11 doing a number on my VHF array. I had to go up on the roof and pull it down before the storm did.

The guy wanted as much for the manual as I paid him for the hp-606b... So I passed, and downloaded it from BAMA.

Mechanicals of the 606 need some grease, who knows wheat else is wrong with it!

Courier CB actually is much cruddier than it appears. Debating what excatly to do with it, but I know I SHOULD clean it up and resell it to finance further boatanchor acquisitions.

Blinkins were produced by LJN Toys in 1985-86. They were fairy-glowbug creatures who lived in Blinkin land who had small wings which lit up and glowed in rainbow colours when their bodies were squeezed. They each came with a pet or accessory and a butterfly comb.

Bioluminescent insect. This little fellow is about the size of a large ant and gives off a continuous bright glow like a green LED in his abdomen. If anyone can identify the species, please speak up.

Soviet pentode GU-50. Testing filament on the bench. iphone camera doesn't want to focus this close.

The shipper I bought this from did not pack this unit properly. During transit, the choke attachment hardware worked loose, then the choke broke its soldered wires and was loose in this compartment. Fortunately, it did not apparently have too much time being loose as the damage was minimal. It is now repaired. The HV PSU puts out about 725 volts unloaded.
