Demonstration given during the closing ceremony at the JROTC National Raider Challenge 2024, Fort Knox, Ky., October 27, 2024.
This is the second time the event has been held at Ft. Knox. The competition, hosted by U.S. Army Cadet Command runs from October 24th through 27th and brought in nearly 300 teams built from around 3,900 Cadets from 220+ schools across the nation and from as far away as Guam. Elite Junior ROTC Students competed to be among the best in the nation.
JROTC is one of the largest character development and citizenship programs for youth in the world, helping them maximize their potential in pursuing their goals. I was given this box of smarties today by my dad, who got them from the barber, who he has had his haircut by, since I was small, and when I was younger I used to be given a box for sitting still and waiting for dads haircut to be done...
the barber today asked how I was, had I finished college (yes!) and dad said I was now 24!
As a joke dad was TWO of these little boxes... one I ate as soon as I saw them, this is the 2nd box, that I thought would be fun to play with!

And, now we have a housing crisis ?
Sean Fraser was replaced and given a new position as Liberal Minister of Housing ? Sean Fraser says he plans on building millions of new houses ?
But, wait now ?
Shouldn't this have been done the other way around ?

Liberal Minister of finance Chrystia Freeland announces her new Liberal Budget 2024 - " Mr Speaker,, let me be clear, my Liberal Budget is coming out on Apr 16th 2024." “Our Liberal economic plan is about building more homes faster, making life more affordable, and creating more good jobs,”
But, It seems that up until Justin Trudeau, Chrystia Freeland and Sean Fraser came along, only 8 years ago,, that :
Houses were being built, bought and sold as per normal
Rents were affordable ?
Food was affordable - life was affordable ?
Everyone had a Doctor ?
Canadian history was respected and Churches preserved ?
One could get a job, work hard, save up, and get ahead ?
Every Senior was a Senior ?
But now, in the 8 years since then, Canadians and particularly the middle class might have noticed :
Arrival of millions of immigrants without accommodation for them,
An overwhelmed Medical system teetering on collapse
No affordable homes left for the middle class,
basics like food, rent and gas have become a luxury,
life has never cost so much nor been so hard ?
over-run food banks, opioid epidemic, tent cities ?
good jobs no longer pay enough to even live on ?
Church burning and tearing down monuments ?
A loss of morale in the Armed forces ?
United Seniors now segregated into 2 separate groups ?

The Liberals had promised a plan to create strength and prosperity for the Middle class and all those working hard to join it ? But after 8 years, it looks like things have never looked worse for the Middle class and for all those working hard to join it ? And it looks like the middle class has lost the most basic need of all, that being a roof over your head ? And it looks like they are now living in an economic environment where they never will be able to buy a home ? And it looks like they can't even afford to rent a home at the current rental rates, and it looks like many can't even afford to rent a small 1-bedroom apartment ? To add to this misery, many other basics of life such as food are much costlier now with less money available for them after paying exorbitant rents ?
While refusing to accept any blame or responsibility for the current dire situation, nor to offer an explanation or even an apology for doing the exact opposite to what the Liberal had originally promised the middle class 8 years ago, the Prime Minister, the retiring Liberal Minister of Immigration and now housing, and the Liberal Minister of finance have instead distanced themselves from any blame for the damage done over the last 8 years and are today presenting themselves and the current Liberal administration who will now act as the Saviours who will rescue the middle class from the damaging dysfunction that has occurred over the last 8 years ? And so today a proud, beaming, confident and assured Liberal Minister of Finance explains how they are going to rescue the-middle class and repair all the-damage done with the implementation of a new Liberal budget for 2024 ? And in this budget, a sincere promise is made once again to the middle class (and all those working hard to join it), that they will :
Build more homes, faster
Help make life cost less
Create more good jobs and economic growth .

When given the brief for Person i decided to look at whats inside and what actualy makes us as humans different from each other. This was a good opportunity for me to revisite an ongoing interest of mine. That of bone structure. The fact that we could never really see what was going on inside inspired me to produce these pieces entirely from imagination.

She was Caddie's sister. They would follow each other around when they weren't following me. She was my companion for close to 15 years. She new when it was time for bed and would come get me every night. She would cuddle and sleep next to me every night and she would sit in the window next to the computer and keep me company when she wasn't laying on my bed. I am so going to miss her. She was a good girl. RIP Gordo April 1999 to October 7, 2011

Bergen has given a warm welcome to its visitors for more than 900 years. Bryggen has become a symbol of our cultural heritage and has gained a place on UNESCO's World Heritage List.
The old Hanseatic wharf is architecturally unique and is perhaps one of the most familiar image in all of Norway.
Ever since the intrepid King Olav Kyrre sailed into the harbour and founded the city in 1070, Bergen has attracted people from all quarters of the world. Some came and went, others decided to make Bergen their home. Bergensers travelled abroad and learned and so Bergen became a melting-pot of cultures and Norway's most international city.
Bergen grew up around its colourful harbour - it was the hub of commerce, seafaring and crafts-manship. We became the north's largest city, Norway's first capital city and the seat of royalty. So important was Bergen by the 13th century that the Hansas - the German medieval guild of merchants - opened one of their four European offices on the wharf called Bryggen.
Some of the Hansas chose to become Bergensers. And so have many others throughout the centuries. But Bryggen stays the same, its contour just as it was in the 11th century, untouched by shifting times. It has become a symbol of our cultural heritage and has gained a place on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Bergen has become a World Heritage City.

I was given a Rupaul head. And I didn't like her hair color. So I change her up to snow white. I think she stands out better. This is older version of Rupaul doll heads. I use the knot and needle method.
