I had to ask. She said she's Gillyweed, the plant that Harry ate during the Triwizard Tournament (?) so he could breathe underwater.
This was knitted using the Freckle Bottoms longies pattern. The skirty portion is crocheted using MM Poppies on Cestari. The body is also Cestari.
These are my "Merpeople and Gillyweed' socks. I'm using Cosmic Fibers Tencel sock in the colorway: "Half Blood Prince'. This colorway was inspired by the cover art for the Harry Potter novel of the same name. The pattern is "Pomatomus" by Cookie A.

After I complete the design and sculpt the first prototype in clay, my wonderful casting service does the rest: casting, sanding, stringing all the creature doll parts. No assignment is too difficult for them. They always try to meet my vision and wishes, often with a high-quality and successful end result. As a finishing touch, I usually work together with Murjani Kusumobroto / FairyFragilities who in turn makes beautiful mini doll props and clothing. And Brenda Fishel / ArgenTTo regularly makes the fantastic little hand knits. š
