Just as the ghost train pulls out of the station , jay gets to thinking ' maybe this isnt a good idea ' !

The Ghost Train is an annual event in Chesapeake. The 1 1/4 mile main trail between the entrance and the Northwest River is filled with static displays and the "Ghost Train", wooden wagons pulled by a tractor, takes people down the trail at night where live actors are added to the spooky displays. The local community is heavily involved every year.

The Steam Man of the West

The Hatbox Ghost is a character that appeared originally in The Haunted Mansion at Disneyland but was removed shortly after the attraction's debut. Located formerly in the ride's attic scene, the figure is described as "an elderly ghost in a cloak and top hat, leaning on a cane with a wavering hand and clutching a hatbox in the other."

At the D23 Expo this year they had a Journey to Imagineering exhibit and they had an actual working animatronic of the Hatbox ghost! It was really cool and I snapped photos of a full animation, these were the ones I liked best.

I used an 8-second shutter speed on the shutter priority mode with an ISO of 100, I used a light and flashed the subject for each pose to solidify them more. I change some color settings to give it a green-blue hue and I desaturated everything else. I used a tone curve to bring out the highlights in the skin and to make the ghosts more visible. I used a scratch asset and used a blending mode to apply it. Finally, I used the lasso tool to cut the edges of the image and added a ripped photo asset to the edges to sell the ripped effect.

"FOUNT PENS REPAIRED" - My favourite Ghost Sign to date!

This rather marvellous Ghost Sign is to be found fairly near the beginning of Stoke Newington Church Street, north London. I hope it is still there! It was, the last time we visited Stoke Newington, in early November 2011.

Please note the wonderful 3D effect where the conceit is that of a fountain pen stuck through a double slit in a sheet of paper!

Certain parts of north and northeast London are fairly littered with very old Ghost Signs - quite a few of them in very good condition considering their great age. With a better, more expensive camera I could no doubt take photos of most of them.

Ghost Bride Theme Shoot for Jeslyn Chua at Dairy Farm, Singapore

In the heart of Prague, whispers abound of an ethereal presence that roams the cobbled streets, a legend woven into the tapestry of the city's folklore. Tales speak of the Prague Ghost, a spectral being that emerges from the shadows, donning the guise of a mortal, blending seamlessly into the urban landscape.
