Vintage Gurley candle with retro looking plastic jack-o'-lanterns. This cute little ghost reminds me of Georgie from Robert Bright's book.

Taken with a cheap disposable camera (courtesy of Tricia) that inserts "ghosts" into your photos.

I made this because the kooberz ghost could fit a saber scorpion elite in it. So i had an idea to build one to accommodate the elite. This is completely my design so if your gonna use it u have to give me credit.

This image is of the "suspended" Echelon Place Resort project which last saw work in 2008. This was the site of Stardust Casino Hotel that was imploded in 2007. Another ghost project is visible - Fontainebleau Resort, on the right with tower crane visible - also with no work since 2008. Among the places removed for the Fontainebleau project was the Candlelight Wedding Chapel which was saved and moved to the Clark County museum. See: www.flickr.com/photos/43531315@N04/sets/72157628986068797/. Another "ghost" is visible between the towers - Sahara Casino Hotel's sign is visible (must look closely, original size). This place closed as of 2011 with undetermined plans.

Update: On 4/1/12 I talked to a security guard at the Sahara. This resort plans to reopen in 2014.

Update 2: Feb 13, 2013 LV Sun reports that the new owners have secured funding and plan to reopen the former Sahara as the "SLS Las Vegas" by fall of 2014.

Ghost sign: 'Warings Wilton Factories from London Wall', Shepperton Road, N1.

A familiar street, a different day, I've noticed this sign many times before but today the light seems right.

What a blend of early Black Sabbath and Mercyful Fate, at least that was my first thought. Put aside the theatrics and ghoulish imagery and you have some great music. I was surprised by how tight this band was and the sludgy, groovy black metal.

Our female Ghost Cornsnake - blue eyes!

this pic was taken by my mother in law in 2007 with an old samsung e250 mobile phone. she took a photo of her son drunk and asleep and intended to show him the next day but when she viewed it the next day she thought it looked funny so she asked me to show it to her on my pc so i opened it with adobe and she got a shock when we could see what looks like a hand. it could be a camera malfunction but in all my years of using mobile phones i have never seen a double exposure on a cam phone. her house has experianced periodic poltergeist activity for many years. nothing extreme, just the usually things getting knocked over, strange bangs etc

Panoramic image from Ghost Ranch where Georgia O'Keefe lived and worked.

The above cabin is known as the "City Slickers" cabin. It was built and used in the 1991 American western comedy film, directed by Ron Underwood and starring Billy Crystal, Daniel Stern, Bruno Kirby, and Jack Palance.

In the summer of 1929, O’Keeffe made the first of many trips to northern New Mexico. The stark landscape, distinct indigenous art, and unique regional style of adobe architecture inspired a new direction in O’Keeffe’s artwork. For the next two decades she spent part of most years living and working in New Mexico. She made the state her permanent home in 1949, three years after Stieglitz’s death. O’Keeffe’s New Mexico paintings coincided with a growing interest in regional scenes by American Modernists seeking a distinctive view of America. Her simplified and refined representations of this region express a deep personal response to the high desert terrain.

In the 1950s, O’Keeffe began to travel internationally. She created paintings that evoked a sense of the spectacular places she visited, including the mountain peaks of Peru and Japan’s Mount Fuji. At the age of seventy-three she embarked on a new series focused on the clouds in the sky and the rivers below.

Suffering from macular degeneration and discouraged by her failing eyesight, O’Keeffe painted her last unassisted oil painting in 1972. But O’Keeffe’s will to create did not diminish with her eyesight. In 1977, at age ninety, she observed, “I can see what I want to paint. The thing that makes you want to create is still there.”

Late in life, and almost blind, she enlisted the help of several assistants to enable her to again create art. In these works she returned to favorite visual motifs from her memory and vivid imagination.

Georgia O’Keeffe died in Santa Fe, on March 6, 1986, at the age of 98.

Equipment for ghost hunting, taken for an article.

I had set out again with my camera last Monday evening to explore the city. You can't get over the feeling of being in a ghost town. It's really a strange feeling what's happening to us humans these days. The fear of a possibly contagious virus makes us blinded by the possible fact that we can no longer understand the real causes behind this big theatre. Day after day our mind is flooded with confusing media, which many people cannot withstand and in the end only the escape into fear as a place of retreat remains.

I close my eyes and return to my heart. I bow to the breath of the present and trust with love in the future.

In prayer for all 🙏
