Ghost Stones, Utah
Sometime you go to shoot one thing and end up photographing something completely different. On our way to photograph some white hoodoos, we saw millions of these perfectly painted Ghost Stones scattered in the Wahweep Wash. We ended up spending more time photographing them than the hoodoos.
Enjoy and Share.

It was mayhem in the city of London as we were invaded by Ghosts and Alien Ghouls.
People were running for their very lives. These Alien Ghouls were from the 3 bluish planets of Archenim and were sent here to cause destruction. I was lucky enough to get a shot of this early on action, then had to also run for my life.
This crazed action shot was taken on Richmond Street London Ontario Canada.
If there any other worldly sightings...please do not hesitate to let me know.
Thank you and have a safe day Dear Flickr friends.

In a few days I am leaving for Alaska!
I have been working on some photographs for a new album by a well known jazz saxophonist and having great fun with some ideas 🎷
A ghost spray painted on the ground just outside one of the Maltings buildings in Mittagong.
Nikon F4. A Kodak film either 200 or 400 standard consumer type, but I can't remember which.
After seeing all the big Monster Fighter sets on display in the Lego store, I decided that this was my favourite- the castle was a bit cramped and, although it was very cool, the haunted house just didn't seem worth the money.
Let´s face it, the create a soldier feature of COD Ghosts is probably the most fun bit the game has to offer. Now how does one go about recreating these? For the left one dark blue Clippy combat pants seem to fit the most and for the white one the rebel visor may work, but I really have no idea how I can have both, the reddish eye section/visor and a white balaclava.
This is the caption for the photograph on the other (east) side of the building taken in 2017: The store at 2145 W. Grand Ave. is still there, now known as EuroFurniture. Its origin dates back to the 1930s. Given the lack of an area code on the phone number (which remains the same), this qualifies as ghost sign, IMO. NOTE: The family is closing the store during the weekend of March 1 - 2, 2020.
Ghost Sign
Mar-Lo's Flower & Gift Shop
Washington, North Carolina
The sign is old and faded, and the business it advertised apparently has faded even more completely; the only address I turned up through a Google search is for a space nearby on West Main Street that is vacant. The old downtown area is a sort of checkerboard of empty and occupied spaces; the three-story building this sign is on has both sorts of space, but most of it appeared to be vacant. That said, the overall appearance is neat and appealing. We had an excellent dinner at The Bank, in the block of Main Street just west of this sign, on Tuesday evening; as the name suggests, the restaurant is in an old bank building. The downtown area is part of Washington Historic District, entered on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 (79001661); there are 512 "contributing buildings" in the historic district. While the community dates from several decades earlier, it has been called Washington since 1776, when it became the first town in the United States named for George Washington. The seat of Beaufort County, it is on the Pamlico River, a few miles upstream from Pamlico Sound.

The Ghost Ship of the Ohio River tells a tale almost too good to be true. And ironically, the story begins in my hometown of Wilmington, DE; where the 186 foot long luxury yacht was built in 1902 at the old Pusey and Jones shipyard. She has been known by many names: Celt, USS Sachem, USS Phenakite, Sightseer, and lastly Circle Line V.
There have been many owners, one of which was the U.S. Navy, which assigned her to Thomas Edison for conducting ocean communication experiments in the Caribbean during WW1. She was recommissioned again during WW2 and armed to patrol for U-Boats in Florida.
After the wars, she returned to the northeast and became a sightseeing boat in New York along the Hudson. Outfitted to carry 500 passengers at a time, it's estimated that 2.9 million New York tourists boarded her over 40 years.
She even made a brief cameo during Madonna's "Papa Don't Preach" music video!
So how did she come to rest in a tributary along the Ohio River just outside of Cincinnati? I implore you to read more about this fantastic tale:

And please share this bizarre story with your friends as a tribute to the history of this boat. May one day she be restored to her former luxurious beauty.
This photo was taken just a few metres outside a very old cemetery at the exact spot where an acquaintance said they'd seen a large glowing object weeks earlier.
We went out around midnight with the sole purpose of trying to catch something like that on camera.
It was maybe just below freezing and pitch dark.
There was three of us with two cameras,
I took lots of photos with the flash, most were just pure black but, right after taking some photos, I would notice something white on the camera lcd screen which was pretty scary.
We sussed later that it was just our breath, but the breath in this photo looks like a classic ghost with face, body and arms.
This image is completely unedited apart from the text and I also have about another ten shots taken at the same time which also have white shapes from our breath.
The image was featured in the UK magazine "Take a break's Fate and fortune" in march 2009.

Wikipedia reports: Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon in the American Southwest. It is on Navajo land east of Page, Arizona. Antelope Canyon includes two separate, scenic slot canyon sections, referred to individually as "Upper Antelope Canyon" or "The Crack"; and "Lower Antelope Canyon" or "The Corkscrew." The Navajo name for Upper Antelope Canyon is Tsé bighánÃlÃnÃ, which means 'the place where water runs through rocks'. Lower Antelope Canyon is Hazdistazà (called "Hasdestwazi" by the Navajo Parks and Recreation Department), or 'spiral rock arches'. Both are in the LeChee Chapter of the Navajo Nation. The canyons are accessible by guided tour only."

Ralph Waldo Emerson. The happiest man is he who learns from nature the lesson of worship.
Lucius Annaeus Seneca: On entering a temple we assume all signs of reverence. How much more reverent then should we be before the heavenly bodies, the stars, the very nature of God!
John Muir: All the wild world is beautiful, and it matters but little where we go, to highlands or lowlands, woods or plains, on the sea or land or down among the crystals of waves or high in a balloon in the sky; through all the climates, hot or cold, storms and calms, everywhere and always we are in God's eternal beauty and love.

Taken in Kachi Khali Range, Sundarban, Bangladesh. Sundarban is the largest Mangrove Forest of the world. The fog was so mystical. But i don't think I was able to capture the true beauty of that moment.
