Ghost is an unknown to the Resistance. It hasn’t been seen by many, but those who have rarely are in no condition to talk. The only way we know of his appearance is cameras have caught him infiltrating key Resistance bases. He is most likely affiliated with the nation.

Is Erieau a photography gold mine? Ummm.... yeah.

I may actually head back again next week (this time remembering my graduated NDs - they definitely would've helped).

Our candle has spookily melted down to a friendly ghost, just in time for Halloween! 👻

Freaked out space man for scale.

Taken today at Park Cameras event - Wild Arena brought a few things to photograph.

Oh, these ghosts of our past, they’re everywhere, all around us. Existing, and living on, in their own pocket of time. They can diminish our happiness if we continue to yearn for all we have lost, wishing to be who we once were, wishing to be them. To live, to be happy now, we must let go. Let go of all we once were, let go of all we once thought we could have been, let go and be who we are.

I won’t be a ghost of a memory, and a future that can no longer be – I am so much more than that. I'm letting go a little more each day.

Bodie, CA. June 2015

.

I had some good and scary times in this little town named Bodie.

Pleasant walks in its desert streets made of dust.

Quiet moment feeling the warm air from the meadows around.

I really love this place. I mean really. But also, I have some mixed feelings about this place.

I shivered too in the streets of this nowhere town, thinking about the death blow that haunts this place... Or I'd rather say, The madness who crawls like a disease through the building of this old city.

From one day to another they came and they left for one thing gold...

Fools gold..

So many different names for it today...

But a same effect.

The one that turns masses into blind sheeps, the one that beats down the need for the celebration of the vain want.

They didn't know what they want but they knew how to get it.

Windows like mirrors...

But you don't see who you are.

Windows like screen..

BUt you won't see the truth.

Just ghosts on the both side of the same world...

Poor Bodie, Even your Curse sounds too material...

When you don't believe in Gold.

Anyway I love you Bodie...

The apparition of a ghost in a scorched woods on a cold Winter's day.

The photo was taken in rural County Tyrone and processed for the effect. The ghost was added by AI Generative Fill.

Northern Furniture Company’s name lives on downtown St. Paul MN. The company was founded in Wisconsin in 1881 but ceased trading in 1993.

A few years ago, Adam Moore turned me on to a fantastic Russian photographer named Alexey Titarenko. One of Alexey's classic techniques is to work in the street and take two exposures from the same vantage point: one fast shutter, and one slow. Then, he combines them in the darkroom. He tries to portray the ghosts that walk among us while we go about our busy lives.

From a compositional point of view, it's a lot trickier than it sounds. After shooting for half an hour at the same spot in San Francisco yesterday, this is the best that I came up with.

A Diadalív 284 lépcsőjének megmászása után. A hülye fejemmel nem figyeltem a cipőmre. De a piros kis "szellemek" miatt feltöltöttem a képet.

Parsifal as Ghost rider

“Merlin”, Parsifal said. “Please tell me, where can I find my creator?”

“You mean your source, I guess.”

“Yes”, Parsifal said.

“The source lies in your self.” Merlin continued. “You and the source are one and the same. You are riding in your dream.”

“How do you know?”

“I do know nothing. I don’t need to. Maybe one day you remember my words. You cannot believe in them. You have to experience them.” He laughed. “Well, call me an idiot. You are right. Nevertheless, you will remember. I nearly died three years ago, you remember? I found it true what a dying woman had told me many years ago. Life is but a dream… The source… The source…. It’s me…!”

From my point of view Parsifal is a form of metaphysical energy, a form of power which motivates a human creature to search his metaphysical source. This source for me is consciousness.

Ghost fear.

All the kids run past Number 47. Never walk. Always run. In many ways, its their favorite game

That time just before dusk, when the mist is moving in and you can hear the slightest sound. That's when the fear strikes most.

There's just a feeling that something isn't right, a prickle at the back of the neck. Is someone watching me? Is all as it seems?

Sprint past the Green door, all the way to the end of the street

Don't think about it. Don't look up at the windows - just run! And run.

To know for certain - to be sure - you'll need to view this LARGE.

For the ghost, I have to thank Piccadillywilson.

I have been busy with photographing for work that I haven't had the chance to shoot for myself. Plus my primary lens is in repair so I haven't been limited to what I can do.

This weekend, my dearest DH took me to Bodie, California for my birthday weekend - a ghost town I found on flickr way back when. This month is the last month they have Photographer's day and the light was just right at 7:30 AM.

Ralph Waldo Emerson. The happiest man is he who learns from nature the lesson of worship.

Lucius Annaeus Seneca: On entering a temple we assume all signs of reverence. How much more reverent then should we be before the heavenly bodies, the stars, the very nature of God!

John Muir: All the wild world is beautiful, and it matters but little where we go, to highlands or lowlands, woods or plains, on the sea or land or down among the crystals of waves or high in a balloon in the sky; through all the climates, hot or cold, storms and calms, everywhere and always we are in God's eternal beauty and love. So universally true is this, the spot where we chance to be always seems the best.
