About 10 years ago, I folded this geometric decoration twice, (so you see a colored back and front), put them in the origami booklet and forget about them. While looking for another model I came across them again ;-)
I still like both sides equally. You could use it as a brooch, but with firmer paper folded or varnishing them.
These are folded with a patterned paper, 5x5cm.
The background is a sheet of green Unryu paper.

The geometry of the triangulated buildings that now occupy Mann Island, and their profiled roofscapes, preserve the views of the historical buildings that surround them, such as the Three Graces.

Whereas in my previous photo I employed X-Y-Z geometry onto an axis graph to achieve depth in a very flat scene.
Here I tried to take perspective and paste it flat onto the screen.
These two effects take the viewer from being involved within a picture to them being restricted outside of the scene therefore engaging a sense of unease.
Geometry may seem to belong to lines and angles, yet it also runs through the world of the living.
Life does not shy away from structure, it constantly reinvents it, with an elegance that reason struggles to match.

The scene was illuminated by two Nikon SB900 speedlights, CL/CR, fired in Manual mode @ ⅛ power through Neewer 24"soft boxes.
The SB900s were triggered by PocketWizard Plus Xs.
Lens: Tokina AT - X M100 AF PRO D (AF 100mm f / 2.8 Macro).
