The Flower of Life is one of the basic sacred geometry shapes. All structures known to us are following this plan that depicts the cycle of creation. This symbol shows that all life and consciousness arises from one source.
The Lady Chapel at the east end of Chester Cathedral, the oldest part of the building dating to the late 13th century, is crowned by a magnificent five‑light Gothic Revival east window installed during the Victorian restoration. Each tall lancet is filled with richly coloured biblical scenes and figures beneath ornate canopies, the jewel‑like glass framed by the chapel’s slender clustered columns and rib‑vaulted ceiling.
