This is the ceiling of the Grote Kerk, in the city of Haarlem, The Netherlands. I had to lie on the floor of the church to line up the shot above me. I really like the various shapes and textures present in the wood.

みなさん よいシルバーホリデーを!
Have a good new week!
will catch up slowly as I was away from Flickr these weekend~.
After that iconic shot I upped earlier, I tried out some more long exposure shots of the cube houses. I made several shots with a global view, not specifically centred. Just 1 came up as a good shot, the cube houses wasn't that easy to manage.
Gymnothorax griseus or geometric moray eels are often seen looking out from a hole or a small cave and seldom come out into the open. They sometimes hide in soft leather corals, maybe because their coloration provides excellent camouflage in these corals. They are not aggressive but you should watch out for their sharp teeth. They are nocturnal hunters. Nuweiba, Gulf of Aqaba, Egypt.
Last one from here for now. I have an idea for another shot but I just need all the pieces to fall in to place.
I think I need to inject a bit of colour into my photostream next time :) Have a good week everyone.
A combination of various geometric shapes in scale and dimension brings forth a very unique skyline in the night when the buildings are illuminated.

Subject
Probably, many of you know what curling is. In a few words, curling is a game where two teams, composed by 4 players each, throw circular stones on an ice surface, aiming at a target. This sport was born in Scotland, and it is very famous in a lot of countries (such as Canada, USA, Northern Europe, China, Japan and others). The portrayed rink is the home of Associazione Curling Cembra, which is at present Champion of Italy and (automatically, as common usage in curling) the Italian National Team. One of the most important figures in curling is the Iceman, or Icemaster, the person who takes care of the rink. To prepare a curling surface is a very difficult task, between science and craftsmanship, for an iceman must be concerned about a lot of factors: temperature, humidity, ice layer's roughness and thickness, etcetera. A professional curling rink must have very precise features, without which a tournament can be a failure: hence, in a curling club the iceman is a very important member. The portrayed one is Mr Adolfo Mosaner, iceman of the Cembra curling team.
