"Hi,
Im 51 Buggie 2, tunisian , i was navigating any where when i for the first time discovered Flickr, i saw ur photos yesterday, i liked lots of them, especially photos that contain an allusion to an abstract idea, idont like building compositions and general landscapes..the big amount of ur photos is of course a quite nice souvenir of ur trips all around the world, i had great acknowledges about avenues, interiors, famous places...that's beautiful too but when i watched the whole 800 photos i discovered an other dimension of an original and genious marvellous shots..i selected about 55 splendid works, i was excited by the content, the composition, the lighting, these subjects express ideas and bring out abstract qualities such as personal characters, sympathy, humor, analytic observation... really bright work!!.I really enjoyed the voyage behind ur lens, on my screen wallpaper i choosed that old lady looking from her window to this world, down the street where people walk, buy, phone,shout, harrying up to what and why !!!, her arms closed gave her a socratic upper view to that portion of the city also her clothes synchronised with the wall colour then her woollen hat that has not only the same colour of the wall but the same texture , it s a perfect photo in compos.chromatism and especially a silent message that u brought out..i love also the intervall between red books, the russian oblic shot of the small girl in green, the kid in orange parallelizing the pigeon,the water drops on the small dry branches, the heart red veines, the bee stink, the lonely girl on chair near the beer in bl n white, the cracking sky, the human face, the stop lights of cars at a rainy nigh, the light coming from the ochre arc door, the ballerina smoke,the torn blue jean..etc, i d like to thank u and encourage ur fine and concise talent in this beautiful domain. Butterfly 2, my children my wife and i send u our congratulations for all the beauty u spread on our screen this weekend to make eyes see life alive and from the wright angle.
we hope to see more excellent works from u.

I want somebody who cares
For me passionately
With every thought and with every breath
Someone who'll help me see things
In a different light
All the things I detest
I will almost like
I don't want to be tied
To anyone's strings
I'm carefully trying to steer clear
Of those things
But when I'm asleep
I want somebody
Who will put their arms around me
And kiss me tenderly
Though things like this
Make me sick
In a case like this
I'll get away with it
By Martin Gore (who is a genious by the way)
Now before you critisize, just bear in mind that this is a "prop" for a scene and wasn't even going to be filly finished. But the build was so fin and I just wanted to show you guys something. Now I'm no genious at ww2 but I quite like this and I hope you do too :)

I upgraded my Macbook Pro to Leopard today & it was not smooth at all. After the almost 2 hr install, my baby died & I had to take it in to the idiot bar aKa genious bar.
They got it fixed quickly, but I was mad that I had to go through all the drama etc. Anyway, I am up and running now so it's all good.

Call them signs of the apocolypse, acts of God, mother nature, the earth going through scientific change, personally I'd like to think blowing up a hydroeletric dam is a group effort.

Butcher - You heard him fools, be careful with those explosives!
Dr. Amir - Be sure and stagar them, we'll obtain more result
Butcher - I must say, your plan to level the playing field was quite genious Doctor Amir. The UIC and Chinese wont know what hit them.
Dr. Amir - On the contrary, they'll know the wonderful imbrace only a wall of water with the stopping power of a train can bring.

Back with a bang like I promised! (All puns intended) I graduated BLC and am finally home building and recalimating to civilian life and it feels super good. On another note the hype for BFVA is so real, I've probably said it a million times by now but I can't wait. Y'all come out and say hi!
There's an easter egg in the scene as well, if y'all know Half-Life it shouldn't be too hard to miss, lel

A small tribute to the genious of William Eggleston who took this Mamiya Super 23 camera completely out of it's Press context to create some phenomenal images of random everyday objects.
Also, this is really worth watching if you haven't seen it already

Maribel, next to the catalan arquitect Antonio Gaudí, looks at the nice modernist building called "Capricho" at the village of Comillas (Cantabria) in the north of Spain.
This genious of the architecture draw this innovative building in 1883, when he was young. The owner was Máximo Díaz de Quijano, the first Marqués de Comillas. Here Gaudi shows his fantasy combining a contemporary vision of architecture with the adoption of historical neomudéjar elements. The façade is made in brick adorned with ceramics rows. The forged iron is present in the balustrades specially around the tower.
Another twofer for Beautiful Bug Butt Thursday! there seems to be lots today! This is also my tribute to the king of macroligists and the gorse genious the Dougster with zoom in eyesight!! HBBBT
I'm a bit suprised I did not see anyone posting about the genious use of different angles in the 10497 Galaxy Explorer Set
It's a classic school problem to proof arctan(1) + arctan(2) + arctan(3) = pi
There are several visual and mathematical proofs, but this is the first time I see it in an official Lego modell.
I would like to know if the Design-Team was aware of it :)

My portrait of Javi and me, as Peter Pan and Wendy, isn't it the most wonderful ever?? it has owls cause it's Javi's and me fave animals (well one of them and def. on top :D ), bat cause it's another all time fave of Javi, coral to remind us of the sea, a blue bird (i guess that is the blue bird of happiness :D ) and a little secret vasel with a secret paper where we will write a secret message ^_____^ (Javi is crazy about it giving me tiny heart attacks opening it and closing it endlessly, he loves this, and all). Ah! and a tiny portrait of Pino, Javi's beloved bed pal. And yet 2 aditional hand painted charms....
I am so in awe and so speechless.....thank you Mab, you are such a true artist and got us sooo well!!
This will always be so dear to my heart!
The idea of Peter Pan and Wendy was Mab's, she's genious!! i wanted a portrait a bit less literal and a lot more spiritual and symbolic. SO SPOT ON!
and his Little Helper! I love these genious creations of Carl Barks! So it's another praise of his wonderful work... Enjoy!

I'll tell you...
About two years ago...This is on Earth Two now.
The CCPD there, they got a 911 call, about a hostage situation but when the S.W.A.T team got there.... there were no hostages, it was a trap. Zoom set a trap, in order to show the police that they could not stop him...
And he killed 14 officers...men and women, slaughter them..
Left one alive to tell what happened, that officer described... Blue lighting, zooming all about in his camrades... brothers and sisters in arms were murdered.
The officer considered himself a lucky one...spared to tell the tale..... Until Zoom came to his house that night and killed him too....
That's how he got the nickname Zoom"

I should find a proper photo to share these thoughts with... some deep self-portrait that I have in mind. But it won't stop raining in this city, I don't know when I'll be able to put into images what I'm planing and I might as well forget. Again just something that was on my mind.

Through history, artists always had to count on exposing their work in order to get known and... get more work.
Maybe because artists (and public personalities) always had so much exposure, for some it might seem like artists are "more here" than the rest of the world.
People always had this need to leave their mark in this world. Thus the notion that "plant a tree, write a book, have a son" will make for it.
But planting a tree is not enough anymore, who's ever going to know, right? Writing a book is so hard, isn't it? Having a son is so expensive in this day and age, it's trouble and worrisome.
So, when none of it fills the void and fear of going unnoticed in this world, and if the person doesn't have a particular set of talents and skills, the famous "15 minutes of fame" comes out to play.
Looking at it with a mean eye, it's so pathetic to see the amount of energy some people put into performing folly just to show up on the tv news or gossip sites. The internet has only made it worse, the goal now is to be facebook/youtube/twitter famous and if you find something to attract interest and boost you into popularity stardom, suddenly you're the sh*t. Even if you can't follow a line of thought and put two and two together, you are better than your peers because you have a large following of fans. And "something to attract the interest" can be as fake as you get, like creating a false conversation on facebook or iPhone, post the screenshot and hope it will go viral.
Funny how the spotlight floods them so, makes they think the sparkle comes from within themselves. And once bathed in such glory, they will do whatever it takes to keep people's atention... again, with nothing interesting/worthy to share.
People desperate to date a famous sports person, a tv or movie actor/actress. Some will propose marriage to a serial killer that got to be famous, many will get naked in front of paparazzi and pretend it wasn't all set up between them for the exclusive photos. If you are a cute teenager on twitter talking about how horny your are feeling, or how perky your boobs are, that's a sure way to get yourself followers by the thousands. This is the age of self-exposure.
Obviously the artists class is plagued with shallow, pretentious people, full of bs. "Artists" that will come up with a huge blank canvas and a black dot on a corner and be called genious. Everyone wants to be admired. When two such "rising stars" meet, one would swear that the very air was draining the Vitamin D out of each other's body by their throwing so much shade around.
So much anger, frustration, mischief, shame and guilt... when a hundred years from now it's not you, not me, not them, not anyone that will remembered, but always the really big huge talents that actually did something memorable.

It's taken me far too long
Don't think I'm not all in this world
I don't think I'll be here too long

Yeah yeah yeah

que a tanto extremo llegó
de valiente, que se advierte
que la muerte no triunfó
de su vida con su muerte.
Tuvo a todo el mundo en poco;
fue el espantajo y el coco
del mundo, en tal coyuntura,
que acreditó su ventura,
morir cuerdo y vivir loco."

Days Are Going Nowhere
A poem by Peter S. Quinn
Days are going nowhere,
Immortal at last;
Stillness is here and there,
Memories of past.
Years like unknown streets,
All going to by and by;
Remembered bittersweets,
Only a faraway cry.
The simmering fragile wind,
Crumpling nothingness;
Blandly from future rescind,
The fruits and flowerless.
Receptive to breath and sleep,
All is in steep descend;
The shining things into the deep,
Till its very own end.
Days that mask in dark faces,
Flowers with mouth of new;
Shadows passing moods abases,
And hiding realities construe.
Days are going nowhere,
Immortal at last;
Is there anybody aware,
The hour has glassed.
Monte dos Pozos.
Vigo.
¡Joder! Hay que ser horteras.
¡Mejorando cada día! Congratulations, genious !
¡Sois únicos, cambiando a peor continuamente!
Un día nos cansaremos...y Flickr se desinflará de su prepotencia, y...adiós negocio.
Gortin, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland
On a normal road near Gortin, one could easily drive past this large patch of forest & see nothing of interest. Thousands drive pass each year never actually realising what lies hidden in the centre of this small forest. Nothing can be seen from any angle on the outside other than tall pine trees and dense woodland.
Yet in its center this is what lies completely hidden in plain sight from the public for all these years! It was once a popular outdoor museum called the ‘Ulster History Park’. First opened in 1990 it was geniously constructed to include a monk's round tower, castle, mill & various houses, standing stone circles, wedge/portal tombs, an artificial lake & island dwelling all to show visitors what life here in Ireland was like thousands of years ago.
I remember visiting this amazing park as a child & some of my most memorable family moments are from here. Sadly it declined & closed its doors over a decade ago. Nothing was ever touched & all remains just as it was on the very day it closed. Since then Mother Nature has started to slowly re-consume the entire park. It looks absolutely stunning now that it's all overgrown & actually looks like you are gazing back in time, witnessing how ancient Ireland once looked. In my opinion it is now a small Lost Kingdom. I hope my photo does some justice towards this park getting reopened someday. It is unique in this area and deserves to be appreciated by tourists & families of today.
Hope you enjoy! Please favourite & add me as a contact to view my newest upcoming works, Thank you

This chap is "Monkey". He shot to stardom about 10 years ago in the UK fronting the advertising campaign for On Digital, the first digital terrestrial television service, with his comedian friend Johnny Vegas (playing the character Al).
They now advertise PG Tips tea and you can see their latest ad here: (well worth a look!)

This is actually a parody of an old Morecambe and Wise sketch. Morecambe and Wise were a British institution on Saturday night TV in the 70s and 80s and you can see the original sketch here: (again, WELL worth a look - this is comedy genious)

Despite having to use pins to hold his hands (paws?) in place, no monkeys were harmed in the making of this image. Honest.

I'm a sucker for nice watches. I love my Philippe Starck designed watch. Stunning in its simplicity and clean lines. Photos don't really do it justice. The man is a design genious.
Walkin on the beach is not like walking on a street or in the woods, or in the fields. The difference that you walk on the border. The border itself moves and comes and goes with the waves. Walking on the beach makes you aware of limitations. This is why it is different. Knowing your limitations is the key to contentment. Pushing the the limits is honorable and it works most of the times for most of the people. Breaking the limits is for the geniuses. Not everyone is a genious. Not everyone wants to be a genius either. A genious would not care about the waves because she knows, she can walk on the water.
