In my neck of the woods, when we lose power, we lose power for days not hours.

Last winter when we were without electricity for 3 days TWICE, we decided to get a generator.

Well, after last week's crazy storm, we lost power (again for 3 days) and this baby kept us going. It was great to have running water, be able to flush the toilet and know that my all of the goodies in the freezer were safe.
