I was rather dazzled when this came out of the Deep Dream Generator!

Deep Dream Generator Creation

Photo taken at the Detroit Historical Museum.

The end is near as the demo crew strips the power house. Plans to redevelop the 750 acre site are moving ahead. For now it's a sad area to view especially during an overcast morning.

This DC generator (5.2 kW) features rotor that is positioned between the two poles of a horseshoe magnet.

The air-insulated commutator consists of iron sheets.

the joy and the madness

That I encounter everywhere I turn

So at last I can reveal the shield generator! However I have a confession: It's only half a shield generator. And at that, the two rings I have built are only finished on one side. It will take many more Bricklink orders to complete. I added some flames to suggest the empire at in the middle of destroying it! I hope you enjoy what I've done so far. I'll be displaying it at a show in Ireland next weekend.

Power lines, telephone posts, wind generators, etc are the enemies of pastoral landscapes, especially landscapes with a wide horizon. So I decided to forcibly co-opt them into my landscape photograph.

As an aside, I thnk things like this are the product of silo-thinking: everyone sees their own need, the need of their profession, etc, without giving a thought to the needs/desires of others. So, from the perspective of a landscape photographer all power and communication lines should be underground (just like our gas pipelines). ROFL...
