Flexible HVAC Duct For Exhaust Snorkel
You MUST use all-aluminum HVAC duct material! You must NEVER use cheap-ass plastic dryer ducting hose! The heat of the exhaust will melt and/or ignite the plastic hose in seconds. Who wants stinky burning plastic in their camp? Not you, that's for sure.
When fully extended, this ducting will stretch to about 7 - 8 ft above the ground. This puts the generator exhaust well above head-height and it disperses nicely in the wind without being stinky and without emitting large amounts of carbon monoxide at ground level. Ground level CO is a hazard for people in nearby tents. No joke.
This old generator building was powered by steam and supplied electricity to the sawmill and at times to the entire town of Cass West Virginia.
The vented generator compartment is sealed from the inside of the trailer. This compartment is equipped with the optional generator slide-out.

Diesel Generator is a very small MOC, and it was a huge challenge for me, because of the several details and techniques used.

The Electricity Museum (in Portuguese Museu da Electricidade) is a cultural centre that presents the evolution of Energy with a Museum of Science and Industrial Archaeology concept, where themed and experimental exhibits live side by side with a great variety of cultural events. Located in the Belém area on terrain Lisbon usurped from the Tagus River (Tejo in Portuguese) at the end of the 19th century, in one of the city’s areas with the greatest concentration of historical monuments where one can find, among others, the Jerónimos Monastery, the Belém Cultural Centre, the Tower of Belém, the Padrão dos Descobrimentos, the Portuguese Presidential Palace and Museum, the Coach Museum or the Cordoaria Nacional (national rope factory). A building classified as a Public Interest Project, the Electricity Museum unfolds along the perimeter of the old thermoelectric plant – the Tejo Power Station, which illuminated the city of Lisbon for more than four decades.

A Burrell Showman's Engine.
It pulled the trailers carrying the Ride, then generated the electricity to power the Ride and the lighting.
It is doubtful that the engines were lit up like that when working. The big Rides drank electricity when starting and it would not be wasted like that.
Output was 110 volts DC and up to 200 amps, with exciter.
