Along Highway 550 in New Mexico there are several abandoned trading posts. Prior to World War 2 trading posts were very important to the Navajo. The posts were the sources of goods sold to and from the Navajo and served as social centers. The vehicle was provided by generative fill.

I discovered some beautiful murals with an ocean theme. This version has been created using the 'generative fill' feature of Adobe Photoshop. As seen below, the original had three windows and a vehicle. I wished that there had been no windows and decided as an experiment to use this modern tool.
How would the Casino Baden look like if the roaad in front of it was replaced by a channel?
The water part was kreated by AI.

.
Oh, how beautiful Quedlinburg is!
During the GDR era there were plans to demolish the decaying city and its half-timbered houses. The effort required to renovate all the pretty houses and alleys seemed too great. Quedlinburg survived the time of these plans, and in the 1990s the extensive renovation of the buildings, many of which still date back to the Middle Ages, began. Today Quedlinburg is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. It is therefore also nicknamed “World Heritage City”.

Berg.

It was a morning that couldn't be more cloudy, but on the radio they said the sun was shining on the mountains. So, my camera backpack was ready and I headed up the local mountain. 300 meters above sea level, I was at the top in 45 minutes. Damn, not high enough, I was still standing in the fog, but I could see the blue sky. So I got back down, got in the car, drove 20 km, up the next mountain, ran up 350 meters, the mountain was 50 m higher, but still not high enough. I waited 2 hours at -6 °C and then ran back down. 8 km drive, 20 minutes uphill to the highest mountain in the area and there was another observation tower on top. The sun was shining beautifully, but now I'm 150 meters above the fog, not ideal either, but no matter. I had my sport and it was still beautiful. This photo is from the 2nd mountain.

She was three years old in April 2010 and I found several pictures of her playing with her drum. I composited them into one collage, adding a stage background via AI, and a lens flare filter.

Of the three images, I like this one the best. The logs were removed and the plunge pool water smoothed out.
Because the original photo was framed quite tight on the left hand edge, I used the new Photoshop Beta generative fill to add extra 'territory' to the left hand edge and was impressed with the results.

I thought these dinosaur metal statues in Borrego Springs, California would be happier if they could see their reflections in water. Generative Fill in Photoshop provided some water and reflections. It did not seem to improve their attitude!
Created with Adobe firefly and Generative fill.
Two people walking through field of giant sunflowers.
This WW II era ambulance is housed in the Tillamook Air Museaum south of Tillamook, Oregon. The Tillamook Air Museum is an aviation museum located at a former U.S. Navy Air Station and housed in a former blimp hangar, known as "Hangar B", which is the largest clear-span wooden structure in the world. Part of the enormous hanger had a white plastic roof hanging above some of the exhibits. There were also considerable distracting items in the vicinity of this truck. So, I experimented with Generative AI in Photoshop to give the vehicle a more interesting back drop.
Happy Truck Thursday!
