Pictorial representation of a volcanic eruption near Baros Pass by DIGITAL ART.
Baros is a remote mountain pass at an altitude of ~1920 m ( ~6,300 ft ). Stones often fall off or slide from the steep slopes downwards: they either fall down the craggy cliff making eerie noises or they land on the pavement of the road.
The Baros Pass is one of the highest in the Balkans. It is impassable because of the extreme weather conditions during many cold months every year. The pass connects Thessaly, Greece (from Chaliki and other villages of the river Aspropotamos) with Epirus (village Kalarrytes).

This International truck is resting outside the museum in Beatty, Nevada. When camping in Death Valley, we go Beatty to purchase fuel because it is so much cheaper in Nevada than in the park. The truck was likely used in mining which has been a primary occupation in the area for over a hundred years. It is interesting that some sections of the truck have relatively intact yellow paint which other parts are seriously deteriorated. While the truck is real, the background was supplied by Generative Fill in Photoshop. My prompt was: rocky desert.

Thank you very much for your comments and faves, regretfully, I am finding it increasingly difficult to reply to your comments, because of my very limited time on the internet, due to constant power interruptions in South Africa. I do read and appreciate every one of them, however! Thanks again!!

This 1949 Diamond T Truck was originally owned by a business in Santa Fe. It was left at an auto shop in 1951. The owner never paid the bill or picked up the truck. In 1988, the owner of the Santa Fe Skies RV Park bought the truck for $50.00 and moved it to the RV Park where it is displayed by a solar panel array. We stayed at the RV Park. I thought the truck would enjoy this change of scenery provided by Generative Fill. My prompt was: mountains, desert, storm clouds.
Happy Truck Thursday!
We found this old truck sitting among the detritus of an abandoned auto repair shop in Fredonia, Arizona. I thought it would be happier in a more peaceful environment. Generative fill came to the rescue.

Somewhere in New Mexico a car was abandoned. It was in a field scattered with junk so I used generative fill to move it to a more attractive location.

I have been experimenting with enhancing photos lately. This one was pretty good, but it was a vertical shot. When I adjusted the camera for a better position, the spider ran. So, the left and right edges of this photo are made up by Adobe 2023 Beta's Generative Fill feature. And I used Topaz Photo AI to sharpen it. A pretty low setting because it seems to distort macro details like hairs and lines. I am really impressed with both. I still needed to clean things up in Photoshop afterward, but it can help save the not quite worth posting shots.

This old car at Dalles Mountain Ranch Park is famous for photographs of it surrounded by balsam root flowers. Sadly the area in front of the car was trampled to dirt. So I added some flowers with generative fill in Photoshop. Generative fill evidently does not know what balsom root flowers look like but it did pretty well.

The Coquille River Lighthouse is perched at the mouth of the Coquille River. It opened in 1896 and remained staffed until 1936 when the Coast Guard placed an automated beacon on the end of the nearby jetty. The structure was abandoned for over 20 years until the state of Oregon created a state park around it. The lighthouse received a major restoration and was opened to the public in 1979. Weather continued to damage the building and it received another restoration in 2007. While the building is staffed by volunteers and is open to the public, the tower is closed off due to safety concerns from deterioration. The area around the lighthouse has a significant accumulation of lumber, tree trunks and other debris from storms. With the help of Photoshop generative fill, I am able to display this beautiful historical structure with the dignity it deserves.
In Santa Fe, New Mexico we stayed in an RV park that displayed several vintage vehicles. Because this was a former Air Force truck I gave a prompt to generative fill for planes. Evidently generative fill in Photoshop isn't very good at producing realistic airplanes!
But the truck was real.
Happy Truck Thursday!
