First results of a new generative art algorithm. Still experimenting with it (as always).

This is generated by letting 2000+ particles wander around, leaving a trail. They flock together based on a perlin noise map.

EvoEco is an experimental piece of software for the creation of abstract images using simple virtual drawing creatures. These images were evolved by users of the software.

 

EvoEco was created by Taras Kowaliw, Alan Dorin, Jon McCormack at the Centre for Electronic Media Art at Monash University, along with ninety-six anonymous artists.

This project was created during the "Handmade Generativity" Workshop at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg (Germany).

 

The Workshop took place in May 2012.
